E - Everyone

In All My Poetry

Author's Note: this poem was inspired by the famous poem by Elizabeth Barrett Browning called How do I love thee?. Enjoy vigorously.

When'ere I think of thee,

Thou can tell by my face,

By the quaking of my knee

And the quickened heart's pace.

When'ere I think of thee,

My soul soars to the sky.

But dost thou think of me?

I can see not why.

I love thee without words,

Without knowledge or hesitation,

With neither thought nor vision blurred,

And without any expectation

Of affection in return.

I'll wait for you without explanation,

Without wavering, with all faith firm.

When'ere I think of thee,

My heart shouts in exaltation.

Great! However, you messed up your rhyming scheme in the last four lines.

I'll wait for you without explanation,

Without wavering, with all faith firm.

My heart shouts in exaltation.

Explanation and thee do not rhyme. Otherwise, I loved it. I like your rhyming scheme and the rhymes did not seem forced and it really flowed. I also really like how it was a love poem but it wasn't sappy at all.

QuietQuilla desu!

I really like this poem.

"By the quaking of my knee

And the quickened heart's pace."

The expressions of this poem is breathtaking and so far I have not seem much of any critical mistakes.

"But dost thou think of me?

I can see not why.

I love thee without words,

Without knowledge or hesitation,

With neither thought nor vision blurred,

And without any expectation

Of affection in return."

This is like the peak of the piece, it displays just how far, or much, the main character loves or is devoted.
This is beautifully written and I can't wait to see what you have next.
