Puppeteer, puppeteer,
where have you gone?
you said you'll be back for me
but it's been long

Puppeteer, puppeteer,
where have you been?
when I wanted to end it all
you've clawed my eyes, so I can't see

Puppeteer, puppeteer,
I'm sorry, I apologize
that's what I always do
but I saw past your sweet little lies

Puppeteer, puppeteer,
using my health to win me over
you never even cared before
blaming others if you fail to cover

Puppeteer, puppeteer,
you have the greed they talked about
you are the temptation snake
for you to hear, I had to shout

Puppeteer, puppeteer,
I couldn't grant what you demand
and I still think of you often
I wish I could say sorry, but I can't

Puppeteer, puppeteer,
sometimes I feel guilty for leaving you
but no door was opened for me
so now the strings are finally cut loose

I'M SO GLAD I MADE IT OUT.
