I used to remember the nights,
when you sat there, by my side,
you saw through the darkness that just lie there,
and you told me, you were fine.
-
My heart is shattering like pieces,
by this silence as I sit where we used to,
the cold my hands missing your warmth,
this life just isn't the same.
-
Father, please forgive me,
for I have sinned.
I killed my love, and I'm barely breathing,
please give me hope.
-
An ache so deep, oh this is misery,
God, please forgive me,
my life is no longer worth it,
if my faith is no longer existent.
-
I want to believe there is still beauty here,
I want to continue to move forward,
but I do not deserve your love.
I do not deserve your hope.
-
They say, you're the King,
the one who can make the wind sing,
the one who forgives so easily,
yet you give me this hope I do not deserve.
-
Father, you've taken my heart,
you've made something out of nothing,
but why do such a thing when
I'm just a

Through your Holy Spirit,
I will call to you, my dearest Father,
I believe in you, I believe in your Son,
Please, God Almighty, keep me alive.
-
All of this love you send me,
All this hope that fills my veins,
I'm walking these roads empty handed,
as I reach out to grasp the soul of my love.
-
I do not want to die here,
I'm so tired of feeling so numb,
all these screams for help,
all these thoughts of sorrow.
-
Father, please forgive me,
for I am a sinner.
I've killed my love,
and now, I have nothing else to live for.
-
Crippled anger, tears that fall so quickly,
I do not want to be afraid,
but these holes in my heart only release darkness,
as her voice echos in my mind.
-
I'm screaming Your name,
like a fool with his eyes closed,
all I'm really good for is the act of sin,
don't lie to me, God, you don't accept me.
-
I am not your son, I am no angel,
everyone lies, nobody is perfect,
these lies are my way of truth at times,
yet you forgive me even though I'm just a

Heya, Rin! Casanova here to do a review for you! Anyway, I'll be taking this section by section(stanza by stanza) so I hope you don't mind! Anyway, to the review!
Aight, first thing to talk about is format. I think I mentioned this in a different review I did for you. Shift key + enter. It makes the lines stick closer together where you don't have the extra white space.
Overall these lines aren't bad. You have your emotion, but what you do have is a lot of narration. You lack the images to tell the story, but you go ahead and tell them through point of view. I say play around with it a little. Anyway, onward.
Format. Anyway, one thing I didn't like about this was the second line that you have here. I'm assuming you're talking about you're sitting where you two used to sit, but I can't be sure about that. It could be you forgot to add something here as well, as the line seems like continue after this but they don't. Anyway, onward.
I really like these lines. They have a certain lyric feel to them as well, and I really enjoyed that. So props. Anyway, onward.
I think I'l stop stanza by stanza reviewing after this one. I find that throughout your poem you're basically just talking to God, and I like that, but I do think the length of this is daunting and it could be shortened without any harm to the poem. The next thing is that since you're talking to God, you're giving up images and in some places emotion, and I think you could do better than that.
Anyway, that's all I have to say on this one and I hope it helped.
Keep on doing what you're doing and keep on keeping on.
Love, Matt~
Hello!
The previous reviewer hit the nail right on the head when she said your imagery was great. I agree with her on her other point as well. "Sinner" looks out of place when separated from the stanza, so you would definitely benefit from tacking it on the end.
The line "like a fool with his eyes closed" doesn't really do much for me at this point in the poem. Like, everything before it has such artful phrasing. Suddenly, this line is there. I do like what follows it up, so that one line is the problem.
I think that's about it. Great work!

I love the Imagery here and I'm not sure praise will be all that helpful here but maybe adding the S I N N E R to the end of the stanzas rather than having it in it's own line would make everything flow a lot better. Otherwise I can actually feel the emotion here and I can see the imagery you were getting at. I love it Kilo,
