I was looking at you
from dawn to dusk.
Your eyes have been
united with mine.
Your pretty eyes have stolen
the serenity of my heart.
A treasure of dreams,
desires of the heart.
These are what eyes
hold
in their depths.
I don’t have to speak
nor
reveal any secret.
They understand
every unspoken word.
Who can resist the power
of eyes such as yours.
What else is there in the world
apart from your eyes.
When they look up,
the morning starts,
when they close,
darkness prevails.
My life and death depends
on these eyelashes.
All my dreamland are
here in your eyes.

Hey there!
I'm really into the romantic poems and I think this poem touched a really emotional part with in myself. You really brought out the magic in this poem by just focusing your world around her eyes. As a girl I think you've perfectly put what lies inside her eyes as people says window to our souls are eyes and I think we can give this poem for an example of that saying. Eyes are just mere insight of what we're going through and I think the unspoken can only be understand when we can feel what others want us to and its a thing related to heart but Indeed eyes plays a very big role in showing it through. What makes it big is your whole world starts and end with in her eyes and what I get from this poem is that when you're in so much into the depth of their eyes your happiness and sadness starts to lie in it! Great work, keep writing. Thank you.
I can't even write a review because I can't find anything to nag you about xD. It's beautiful. So now I'm a loyal follower of you and your incredible work!

I enjoyed the message but it could have used more imagery on what the eyes actually make the narrator feel. Plus more emphasis on how the loves eyes differ from others will make the narrator more lovestruck. In the last stanza I believe the use of "eyelashes" throws off the poem because you dont use any other use for "eyes" anywhere else. And finally the last sentece dosn't make gramatic sense. "All of my dreamland are here in your eyes"
Hi there, LGF here for a review,
I thought this was a good poem. You did most things right, you set it out in stanza's and you picked a topic and it was romantic. You put imagery in. You had a good, simple title.
But I've read it a hundred times.
I don't mean to sound rude, because I know you could do better than this because there where some good lines. What I mean is that the topic of 'her eyes' has been tried and tried again. I'm sure the first time it was done it was magical, but this just wasn't. It didn't bring anything new to the cards. It talks about how the world revolves around her eyes. I mean, as a guy I'm kind of sick of romantic poems being about how magical their eyes are.
You could make this really brilliant by putting some kind of twist on it. By making it about how ugly her eyes where, but how beautiful the thing behind her eyes is.
Or just stay away from blatant romance, since there's a lot of it out there.
Overall I think this was an ok poem. You used good techniques, but that was really all it was. I don't mean to sound harsh or anything because I think you have potential.
Keep up the good work;
LGF
Hey Donnie boy!!!! Really liked your poem!!!! I get it, eyes are the window to the soul, right? In other words if you look deep enough you can read someone's emotions and intentions, and if you could see that you feel like you understand someone better. The only thing I'm confused about is the set up of the poem. Why did you put a huge space right in the middle of the poem? Also what was the point in suddenly stopping the 2 sentence per stanza theme in the 5th stanza then starting again in the lat one. Other than that I don't really see a problem. However someone else could probably do that better than me. Anyways keep calm and write on!!! =^_^=
Hey, yo, Donizback! Strangelove here on this PokeReview Day and I have a review for you! (As you guessed).
Don, I hope you know that you are a good poet. You do pack this mysterious romantic element in there. It's interesting, and works with some reviewers and readers. I am not the biggest romantic fan because they all rely on these cliches like they do know romance. They predict that they are all the same, and the ones that predict that are the same. Some things do make great romances (The movie Her for example) and others do not.
You show no action between the narrator and the woman with these eyes in this poem. Is it bad? No. It's not a bad thing when done right. Sadly, this poem didn't hit off with me for reasons like these. This felt like the average romance poem.
I have to agree with Sampson. Males do have obsession with eyes, but not big ones. The words you used in this, gradually big words to express "emotion". Treat emotion like a soda. Serve it nice and fresh. If it's been sitting there, it becomes flat. I'm sorry if I'm being harsh, but this was honestly flat. You do better, I sure know that, but this just didn't work. You failed to execute the knockout punch.
Overall, okay job.
Strangelove gives you...
Okay/10
Okay job,
Keep writing,
Stay groovy, my friend.

I'm so tired of men obsessing over eyes. It's so stereotypical and just makes one big scoff build up inside me. But hey your poem sounds good... heheh... hehe... yeah.... heeee...no.
Well, eyes are our way of telling one another that were here not only in body but in mind. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. I say the eyes are often a placeholder for the soul. And yet nonetheless when we become infatuated we so often cite the eyes, those elusive frantic shapes, our glances toward them are fleeting but purposeful. And we cant even see the life in our own. Colourful commentary on this phenomenon. You beleive that the eyes are already so emotionally charged, ready to go off at a moments notice. Almost like theyre predjudiced
. Perhaps it would be best to change the bits about the eyes communication. Use words like stream or beam or snything other than speak. It will make the unspoken words mich more powerful. Of course its up to you. This poem may be everything you want. Dont feel pressured to defer to others judgment. After all you cant even see my eyes! Good work keep it up.
