Hi, Dasia!
I liked it. Well done!
Awww. I find this is one of your better pieces of the ones I read today, anyway. I liked it! I liked some of the references to the story behind it. It's sweet and sad at the same time. It's well done!
Fairytales are used a lot in songs, but gah. I have such a soft spot for them. So I'm not going into that since I'm not one to talk.
I'm starting to understand you like repeating lines a lot rather than giving more insight on what's being said. And that's totes legit since a lot of songs are like that and those can still be sweet and fun to listen to. Brownie points for originality is a lot harder to receive since a lot of those simple songs have already been done by someone else. Just keep that in mind!
I like how we catch a glimpse at how their relationship is right now. It certainly gives a better perspective at what's being described here, which the audience will appreciate. The Prince Charming bit seems a bit wrong since it appears that the relationship with Charming is the actual problem. Perhaps a little more insight as to how it would be repaired or maybe a taste of sweet memories. I dunno. Just suggestions for a little flourish~
It's a good song, though.
Keep writing!
