In Old Poems [terrible]

easter

but when I added the salt, I thought
"my first boiled egg at home alone"
and knew it might not be alright

perhaps I'll burn my fingers;
just so there's something to remember

I like it. A lot. There really isn't anything I can think of changing. It was short and sweet. Kinda reminded me of Emily Dickinson because of how short and to the point it was. Good job!

Pretty cool. I like to think I got all of that but what I got from it might not be at all what you meant. Chrystos Voskres 8)

Remember when dad's shoulders were the highest place on earth and your mom was your hero? Race issues were about who ran the fastest, war was only a car game. The most pain you felt was when you skinned your knees, and good byes only meant tomorrow? And we couldn't wait to grow up.
