I don't give a damn about what they say,
All I care about is that I am me today.
I wish my eye and hair were brown,
I show a smile less but more of a frown.
I may study less and waste my time,
But I get good grades so why give a dime?
My body is what you call a little fat,
And I eat lots- I can give you that.
Freaking hell, I even swear so much,
Even this poem holds examples of such.
My tasks are due and way past the due date,
At times I wonder if the fault lies with my fate.
My mum does not like me and it is the same with my dad,
Knowing this, how can I feel anything but bad?
Most people know me as childish but not fun,
After two minutes with me, all are quite done.
My favourite colour is purple and I also like red,
The way I ignore my chores is just very sad.
I can't be frankly perfect but I try my best,
But how can I possibly explain myself to the rest?

This is what I call a 'good' sorry "great work!"
I love the 'AA' rhyme scheme. Perfectly in rhythm and doesn't miss the beat. It was sharp. Poignant and crisp. No useless metaphors, no extra descriptions. Almost everything in this work is just perfect.
Only thing which bothers me, is the poem has lot of pessimism. I would like to see a similar work where we see a brighter side of your personality. Till then I'll quote my favorite lines:
