There, in the forest, was a fire.
A fire with streaks of orange and red,
standing out with great contrast against
the deep black sky of midnight.
~
A fire of great fury,
lashing out at poor defenseless
flowers and shrubs,
burning them into non-existence.
~
A fire so full of greed,
constantly spreading its wrath,
consuming everything and all
it comes in connection with.
~
A fire that once it’s gone,
leaves nothing but ashes,
of the life that used to live,
of the beauty that used to exist.
~
And yet it is a fire of hope,
creating a fresh start,
for new life to thrive,
and a new balance to be restored.
~
A fire with grace,
its flames colored in vibrance,
dancing across the newly blanked canvas,
painting an exquisite scene in its place.
~
A fire that helps to
purify the soul of the forest,
cleansing it of the toxic species,
that threaten to contaminate others.
~
A fire of balance,
of destruction and of beauty,
of death and of life,
a fire of hope.

Wow I am very happy with this poem. I mist confess that I was motivated to write a similar poem. I also love the fact that almost all didn't rhyme but still it gave me bumps..Thumbs up dear keep it up.
What a do, What it is. Its you boi comin' at you with a review.
Your poem has a lot of imagery in it, and that is a really good thing, since your topic was about the wildfires. A topic like this would need a lot of descriptive words and imagery. If you wanted to be saucy with it, you could also throw in a couple of similes and metaphors. That is exactly what you did,and that is what I liked about this poem.
While I was reading this, I didn't really find anything out of the ordinary. Everything was fine, so you must have some type of writing experience. Which is a good thing.
My most favorite part was in the beginning, where you were describing the wildfires as "streaks of orange and red". This made me think of a painting, where the artist is trying to show their emotions with the orange and red paint. Like they were trying to relieve some type of stress and anger that they were containing inside them for a long time now.
Anyway, thank you for sharing this wonderful, creative, and awesome poem with all of us. I hope read more of your work in the future. Keep up the good work!!

Hey there, pukka here for a quick review...
Wow, I didn't quite get the message at first glance,
This is very interesting.
I don't know what your fire here might mean, but to me it sounds like a being, a beautiful soul, being reborn to a more beautiful soul.
On another thought, it sounds like the oppressors, the politicians, the wicked beings that need to wiped out entirely, they show the world they are beautiful but yet, we all know how devilish they're within. So they need to be wiped out entirely so fresh beings sprout out, people that can make the world a better place to be, people like you and I.
I enjoyed reading this piece. Keep writing!
Thanks for the review!
Radrook here a once again to offer some suggestions.
Apologies if i offend. It isn’t my intention.
Please feel full free to cast aside all things you deem not helpful.
But if you do be sure its true by being extra careful.
That having been said
Its’s not easy to watch a forest fire without thinking that only irreparable destruction is going on. So it might come as a complete surprise that such forest fires actually benefit the forest they appear to be destroying. Sunlight can now reach plants that desperately need it. the soil is made far more fertile by the ash nutrients, plant diseases are obliterated, grasslands are created for nearby grazing animals.
I like the imagery of the fire is described like some inexorable destructive force,
