---I know this not really a haiku in the norms but that's how I chose to express myself.---
We'll make it, Mummy;
I promise with all my heart
That we'll make it through.

I love this!
Why is it always the kids who have to be strong for our parents?
Not often that I come across a haiku that I realy like. Well done on that front. You've managed to fit the taditional 5,7,5 syalablle (
) layout of the poems. I feel that the poem convays a great sense of sadness, maybe 'mummy' has cancer, or another life threantening illness or condition, and the child is helping to make her feel better. Or another senario I came up with is that the father's died and together the mum and child will make it through the difficult/sad time. As I've already said, I really like this and I have a real soft spot for sad poems. At least I think that this poem is sad.
Aww....
This is so cute!
Mummy! ^^

HAIKU! Really interesting subjet to write about, let alone do a haiku about! It really makes a great imagine. Especially how you spell "mummy", like a child would. Gave the poem a real vulnerable and fragile feel. Keep up the incredible work! You are dynamite!
This haiku is interesting. Sometimes it's better to express feeling through few words rather than wasting too many words trying to get it right. I really like this poem. Thumbs up from me!
Most haiku is about nature and things that relate to the natural world. They are beautiful if they are good. Yours is different from some.
Take it from me (I'm obsessed with Japan!!!) that the haiku is the most overrated, overdone forms of Japanese poetry. If you'd like a different form, try renga or tanka.
Quite the interesting haiku, not so many of them on YWS. What I took away from this piece was you telling your mum that you will make it through, plain and simple. Keep it up!
