Right now you're just floatin' around in your Momma's belly and I'm just floatin' around outside of your Momma's belly. When you're old enough to read this, however, you'll know that your Momma is my sister. While you are my nephew, I will love you like you're my brother.
I'm honestly not sure what to write. I just felt the need to tell you about all the great times we will have. I am thoroughly looking forward to teaching you things that will drive my sister crazy. Like how to get out of your crib, how to get into the pantry, how to swear in French. All that fun stuff. But you should also know that I'm kinda mad at you right now. You're overdue and my sister is a little sick of being pregnant at this point. So instead of changing your mind a million times and giving my sister false contractions, could you please just show up? That would be nice.
If you're anything like my sister, you will be a beautiful baby boy. You'll be full of light and laughter and be a genius with zero common sense. You'll do stupid things like accidentally pour bubbles on your head or run away from your Mom in the Smithsonian and try to walk out with an Asian family. You will be so artistically and musically inclined and I will be really jealous of you. In fact, I'm really jealous of you right now. I can't see your current situation being all that stressful. Plus, your Mom tells me that you're very good at gymnastics.
So, dear little Rhidian, I wish you a happy life as free of torment as lives can be. I want you to know that I love you to the moon and back and that there is nothing in this world that I wouldn't do for you. Nothing.
