Pipe to lips.
Flick the lighter;
A few times, it doesn’t
spark till
the third try.
Watch the grass curl
in flames.
Inhale.
Hold.
Exhale.
Feeling of Greatness follows.
Repeat.

Hey there,
there can be a lot of meaning to this poem. Though it is very short, it can mean a lot of things such as you are tired of smoking, you are addicted, etc. Though I would like to see more of a poem, I still think it gets to the meat of it. You tell how Weed is used, what people feel as, or just how people can see it.
No I don't do drugs, but a few of my band member's do. It's probably why I can understand this unlike most people. Again, not really seeing much of a poem but I can still see what you are trying to get to. Mind giving us a little more info?
Thanks,
~Alabaster
Hrmm.
I don't particularly know if there is a real way of reviewing this as a piece of poetry, so I don't think I'm going to. Mind you, I'm not a fan of drug references in poetry as a personal preference, but that is a preference so nothing to dock you any points on.
What I'm most curious about is if there is something else behind this or if it's a simply a step-by-step for doing drugs. Was it mostly the controversy behind the topic that lead to it's getting written, or was it the lack of controversy as 'weed' is hardly anything anyone's ashamed of anymore?
I'm still not quite sure what the whole point of this was, if there even was a point.
Nonetheless, I'll tip my hat due to the fact that I have no idea what else to say.
