Ho ho ho and Merry July Holidays YWS! Tis the season to be jolly!
Please join us as we celebrate the Young Writers Society's Holidays / Christmas in July! The fun begins on July 24, GMT, and we'll be celebrating through the end of December 26, GMT (see event times posted above for your local timezone). This is a wonderful time to spread some cheer through posting friendship poems, or memes, or sharing art with the site - anything to spread some holiday joy!
We'll be encouraging YWSers to give away as many gifts as possible with a goal of 2000 site gifts given. It costs 50 points to send a gift, so if you're out of points you may need to head to the literary center to write a few reviews.
If you're unsure of how to send a gift, there are two ways:
1) The easiest way is to go to a person's profile and click on "Send gift" in the sidebar.
2) The other way is to go to the Settings Dashboard (the gear tab), then click on "Gifts."
Additionally, there will be a banner at the top of the website during the event with a button to give a gift. I hope you join us!
Also keep an eye out for YWS's local jolly celebrity - @SantaYWS who may be visiting the site today from the North Pole!
