Individuality

So I'm supposed to be studying for the rest of what feels like forever, so of course my instant thought is to start writing. I know I haven't been around in a while, sorry about that. I haven't written much in the last few years, maybe 3-4 poems I've actually kept since I turned 16 almost 3 years ago. Kind of makes me sad, since I used to write that much in a single sitting. I hope I haven't lost "the touch." Let me know what you think, I sort of wrote this in a hurry and haven't gotten the chance to read back and edit it yet. I hope you enjoy!

I was not born for any reason,
No godly, worth aim,
I was born a mouth to feed,
And a world to gain.

No I do not have a "destiny,"
A predetermined fate.
I have a mind, a heart, and soul
That alone shall make me great.

I am not a wanderer
"Guided" by any hand.
I make my own life choices,
Not dictated by any plan.

To take away my actions
As my own determined way
Is to take my life from me;
I am no one's clay.

Be proud of me for who I am,
Or condemn me for my acts
But do not blame a "destiny"
And devalue my craft.

I was not born for any reason,
No godly, worthy aim.
I was born a mouth to feed
And a world to gain.

No, I do not have a "destiny"
Or predetermined fate.
I have a life worth living;
A life worth making great.

Hello!

Your poem was so passionate and moving that it made me cry :')
I love the way you showed in this small piece that you are worth living and that you are perfect the way you are. I think that this poem would be great to read to for suicidal kids and i'll totally come read your poem when i'm feeling in the dumps and not wanted. The only thing I wouldn't have done (it's just my opinion, I still love your poem a lot) is repeat the verses, but you did it in such a beautiful way.

Keep writing poem, you're great at it!

hey..friend!!

your stuff is good. i sensed maturity in your content. you explained exactly about individuality, which very few people understand. From starting to the end your piece was mind blowing. In beginning i got the sense of your work. it was very touchy and it was very connective also. the stanzas of your poetry are well constructed and well rhythm-ed as well. you did the good work and i learned alot from this poem. this is very inspirational poem and i got the real meaning of individuality through your poem. i seem no errors in it for me this poem is perfect..............if someone else encounters any error then neglect it because the emotions in this poem are flawless. good work. keeep it up.

Thank you! I really appreciate knowing when others enjoy my work ^.^

THIS
I love this.
It was/is ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS.
Though, I think you should edit a few of the commas out. They're not, like, very VERY bad, but some of them could be removed and it would go a bit better.
BUT you don't have to do anything I say IF YOU DON'T WAT TO
cause it's yours
not mine.
Anyways, GOOD JOB, YOU'RE AMAZING
AND YOU DESERVE MY LIKE
AND EVERY OHTER LIKE YOU GET
Have a great dayyy!

Haha thanks, I'll double check the grammatical proponent when I get the chance.

Oh, okay! And you're welcome!
