I’m losing all of you,
How can one person feel so blue?
There’s nothing more for me to do,
I care so much about all of you,
Without you; I am not the same.
I’m lost inside; let the rain pour down my face.
-
My life comes crashing down,
Like a shooting star; right into your arms,
And you hold me tightly.
Telling me not to shed a tear,
And all I’m thinking is “I love you,
Yes I love you.”
-
You are everywhere for me;
In my dreams, hallucinations in reality,
I close my eyes and there you are.
I can’t explain it; I don’t know how.
All I know is when you’re not there,
I get scared.
-
You’re the sun when I grow cold inside;
You force me to feel,
You force me to heal…
All over, I have these scars,
“Memories of fallen stars…”
Why won’t we just go back to the sky?
-
Because we are all fallen stars,
Broken inside and out,
Drowning in questions and unrealistic fears.
We need each other here,
Without each other; every day we’ll shed more tears,
But nobody else will hear…
-
Every day a sigh.
I gotta wonder why,
Why we’d ever even try to say goodbye.
That would hurt worse than a knife in the eye,
It might not matter…someday I know that,
We’re all gonna die.
-
I’m not afraid,
I know that it’s not permanent,
I will reach out beyond my grave.
Take your hand; as we fall,
Into darkness, we haven’t lost it all.
I want to see our faceless enemy.
-
I’m going under,
Invisible like thunder,
Down I sink.
Lower, lower the casket goes,
Don’t let them drop it,
That would be horrifying.
-
I can still feel this pain in the end,
It grows closer and closer,
I can feel it destroying my soul.
And I wait; and I think,
Because without my thoughts,
I would be nothing, if not pathetic.
-
Please don’t leave me in this hole,
When you know I’ve always wanted to die in a corner,
Fill this hole, build up two walls, and set the casket down.
Because a corner is my home,
And without it fear will creep in,
Don’t let the fear strangle me.
-
I need you more than ever,
Would you stay here, just for a while?
And if you won’t…at least make sure I’m safe,
From all the real-life monsters,
That constantly surround me.
They drown out my darkness that blocks out the light.
-
Border-line, dead inside,
I don’t mind falling to pieces.
When you’re not around,
I’m breaking down.
But that’s just fine,
I will get left behind.
-
Please go on,
Don’t you stop;
I’m not worth it this time.
I hate saying this but,
“You have to leave,
I don’t want you around!”
-
False words, pouring out,
I feel sick…just go on,
Leave me here; I don’t mind being left behind…
I know that what I’ve done,
Has caused this and so I know this is,
The price I must pay.

I liked the vibe this poem possessed. The title is what drew me in.
Because I am yet to meet anybody who does

Although the rhyme did seem a bit forced and inconsistent sometimes, it worked well.
I was confused for a while, though.
"Border-line, dead inside,
I don’t mind falling to pieces.
When you’re not around,
I’m breaking down.
But that’s just fine,
I will get left behind."
This sounded like the Breaking Benjamin song "Unknown soldier". I'm a massive BB fan and the song just sprung into my mind. Just curious, but you don't listen to Breaking benjamin, do you?
Overall this was very good piece of work. Keep it up!
OMG YES!!! -hugs randomly- Where have you been all my life!?
Waiting for Ben Burnley to start recording again
Haha, me to!! Favorite like by Breaking Benjamin??? >.>

hehehhe
All of them??
ummm I'd go with dear agony, give me a sign, forever, next to nothing and Home
c:< I knew I'd like you. Muahahaha!!! Epic.
I do not normally like reading poems, but yours just sucks me in. I really like how you used a lot of detail and really described what you where felling. The beginning of it though does not draw me in as much as I think it should. In all though it was a great poem and keep up your fantastic writing.
Thank you!
I thought you did an excellent job with this piece. Keep up the great writing! From a critique standpoint, I feel like in the middle of the piece, you shifted the tone a little too fast to the them of breaking. But I did think you wrapped it up very nicely when all was said and done. The piece itself was true (or so it seemed) and I could tell it came from the heart. Please write more! And I will look forward to reading the next thing you pump out:) Best regards, The Man
Okay, I will. ^ - ^ And thank you!
