Laughter

In Poetry

It bubbles up
Through your torso
Tugs at the corners
Of your mouth
They spread
And your eyes crinkle
The sound explodes
From your mouth
Your body shakes
With it
The breath is taken
From you, yet
It feels good
Spirits lifted
Sorrows banished
And when it's gone
You can still
Feel its presence
Lightheaded
Joyful
Laughter

Well it is a good poem.A poem about an expression or feeling which is different.Altogether a good one.

Thanks for the comment!

I liked it, sorta, I usually don't prefer this type of poetry, I like the dark stuff ya know?
If you like dark stuff, then I would suggest reading some of EtCetera's work, if you haven't already. Thanks for reviewing, though! :)

You need to be more descriptive :) don't be so straight forward in your poetry (unless you roll like that). I liked it, sorta, I usually don't prefer this type of poetry, I like the dark stuff ya know? Haha, however this poem made me smile so I'll give you much credit for that!! :D

hahaha. you know what? I started smiling at the very first two lines! :)
Probably because I don't say torso very much.

I really don't have any MAJOR issues with this. It's great! I completely agree with how the feeling lingers even after you're done laughing. It's so wonderful.

Now, I noticed there wasn't really any punctuation, but, the flow still seemed to be good.

Great job. Keep on laughing!! ;)
