I love the image, but the font was a little hard to read on it. I'm curious about why you chose the images in the overall picture that you did, and how they tie into the poem. I can see it overall linking to anxiety, but I'm curious about the individual parts.
This portrayal of anxiety definitely resonates with me. I particularly like

Filled with love, filled with hate, / plagued by things that all add weight
because I can relate so much.

A poem about anxiety attacks. I can relate so much. I have found that people who don't have to deal with anxiety have a very tough time understanding the struggle, which can be a frustrating experience that doesn't help with the anxiety. I think the line line "Trapped inside your very own home, like you weren't already feeling so alone" stands out to me quite a bit as it is a perfect description for what people with anxiety (at least as far as I'm concerned) feel in that situation. I think I would rank it 4.7 out of 5 stars. Good luck in the future.

Hey hey hey! Noodles here to pop in for a review .V.

I can't review poetry worth a lick, but what I can say is that this definitely reminds me of Machinehead by Bush. This was a wonderful poem, and a great read. I can't give much critique because, as I said, I'm terrible at reviewing poetry because I have no idea what I'm looking for. But this is great, and I relate to it a lot because I have awful, awful anxiety and paranoia. Rhyming was good, and it flowed very well.

Keep it up!

Yaas, that opening riff is killer!

Thanks for reading <3

Radrook here to get in a review. Thanx for sharing this poem that expresses the frustration of being misunderstood. The speaker feels as if his condition is being trivialized when he is given the advice to do breathing exercises. The speaker describes himself as feeling trapped inside a home feeling alone. Thousands of things in the mind are mentioned but non identified. In short, it is a complaint about advice being by a person perceived as having lack of empathy concerning the seriousness of the condition. The poem very effectively conveys that frustration.

That lack of empathy can really be annoying. Unfortunately the inability to put themselves in other people's shoes it seems to be a part of human nature. Only when an identical misfortune descends upon such people do they suddenly realize the enormity of their indifference.

Hiya! Berri here for a review! _へ__(‾◡◝ )>

I want to start by saying that I have anxiety myself. I tend to freak out over the smallest things and blow them up until they're too big for me to handle, and this especially happens with school and schoolwork. I really need to learn to handle myself. (๑◕︵◕๑)

There are a bunch of poems out there about anxiety, and each is unique in their own way- after all, it is one of the most common mental disorders in the USA. But what stands out to me about your poem is the way it flows. It doesn't feel disjointed and disconnected, rather it feels faster at some points, but slower when the lines "...breathe in, breathe out..." repeat. I also like that the poem ends with a "Breathe in" and then cuts off. It reminds me of a song, in a way. (^・ω・^ ) Like when the song is about to repeat the last chorus line for the last time, but then the singer stops and the instrumental slowly comes to a close... y'know?

Your rhymes were also pretty clever. I liked them!

I don't think I've ever seen an image as the background for a poem yet. Correction- for anything yet. The background somehow seems... fitting. If anxiety had a world of its own, the background would be a part of it. Somehow. ★~(◠ω◕✿)

But regardless, you did a very good job with this! I didn't see any spelling or grammatical errors, nor did I see punctuation errors either. Someone else might, but I haven't seen anything. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ Always a plus though, to see a nice, clean work!

I guess that's pretty much it! Keep on writing!

Berri out! ~ (≧∇≦)/

Thank you! <3
