The moon warms up your smile.
The sun cools down your throbbing heart.
And in that moment, you realize
That you left your sanity a mile back.
You don't try to retrieve it.

Wow. This is short, but oh so powerful. Great job here.
This is a purely a random poem, after reading and re-reading the poem, I am unable to find anything that even remotely resembles a deeper inner meaning. I suppose it could mean a journey of life, and a parti- forget it. It is simply some very nice nonsense. It feels poetic and deep, despite the nonsense.
Keep up the good work,
Take That You Fiend!
This. Is. Amazing.
Sorry for the short review! Hope it helped!
Great work!
How have I not followed you?! *clicks follow*
Right, so a short and excellent poem here, only five lines long and holds so much... power!
I especially like the last line, which really adds effect, showing the reader that the narrator might now even WANT to retrieve it, and they prefer life without it. Brilliant. Genius idea.
Right, so there was only one little mistake I could deduce in this, and it's not even a mistake, just my opinion.
So the line: "That you left your sanity a mile back."
I think it would work better with a comma at the end personally!

Hey!
So you wrote just 5 lines, and maybe that's what making me love this piece even more. Writing short poems, has never been an easy job, because then a sophisticated meaning has to delivered only through few lines, and my friend you just did that! Beautiful!!
The parallel, the contrasts, the style of writing, everything has a peculiar way of being my favourite. I don't know why, but I am suddenly feeling a new thrill within me as I keep on reading this over and over again.
Splendid job!

Hello, MysteryMe.
I love the first line of this poem. It captured my heart when I read it.
When I read the last two lines of the poem, I was trying not to laugh because this poem sounded serious. I mean, I didn't want to be rude. The last two lines sounded hilarious to me when I read it out loud.
This poem is so interesting, further more, it's one of the best poems I ever read honestly.
My favorite line was:
Because of the way it sounded to me. It sounded very beautiful and made my heart throb in real life.
Keep up the good work!

Since I'm not in my computer, please excuse this short review. This lovely poem is strangely beautiful units own way, is very unique compare to other poems written about this topic. I especially like your word choices and the use of parallel in the first two line.
Usually, the moon would cool and the sun would warm. This is a very ingenious use of parallel and contrast. Well done!
Then the last two line, simple but also speaking volumes. It really brings out how you view insanity as just something you left behind. Not ever a care about it.
Wonderful!
I think this poem is pretty sweet. I don't mean sweet like sugar, but like a nice, gentle sweet similar to honey in tea.
I especially the contrast inside of your poem:
"The moon warms up your smile.
The sun cools down your throbbing heart."
It's ironic, like Iceland and Greenland. Seriously, a great way to introduce the concept of insanity.
So you're intro is the most captivating part of the poem.
It kind of makes me wish I could feel the insanity of that moment. Because that is beautiful.
Hello MysteryMe. I really liked this poem. It's so short, yet unique and has interesting word choices. I like how it just nonchalantly mentions that you dropped your sanity somewhere behind you, but don't even try to get it back. That was my favorite part of the poem. Thank you for this poem. Oh, and Have a Happy New Year Too!

I like the word choice of this poem and how it is written, but I don't really understand it.
The moon warms up your smile.
The sun cools down your throbbing heart.
(How are both the sun and moon out simultaneously? Why are you smiling if your heart is angry?)
And in that moment, you realize
That you left your sanity a mile back.
(I'd say build up a little more, show more how you've lost your sanity, because I never got the feeling of the narrator being crazy, so him/her losing her sanity doesn't make much sense to me)
You don't try to retrieve it.
(This is my favorite line because it shows how although the narrator knows he/she is crazy, they're happy as they are and want to live as an insane person. It's a very simple but very powerful ending to the poem, and I love it.)
I missed a lot about this poem, but like I said, it was enjoyable and descriptive. You might want to make it more clear and build up on it with more details, but that might just be me since I don't quite get it. Good job, though!
