A floating thought

In Poems

Every second that goes by,

I feel like I'm going to die.

We all will,

someday.

Imagine...

Death.

The word we fear,

each time we hear.

As if it is a living thing,

with the ability to beat

or take life - our lives.

I can't help imagine,

the day of judgement

and what follows,

from heaven or hell.

Don't forget the grave

and what you get from it,

whether happiness

or torture!!

This poem may not rhyme,

I'm sorry for that,

but I truly wish

that you think of it.

May GOD save us. Amin.

And yes... you don't need to apologize for not rhyming ;)

"The word we fear,
each time we hear."

I think there should be an "it" after hear. I'm not sure if its necessary, check it up though.

"We all will,
someday"

Those are my favourite lines.

Overall, a nice poem with a great message! I liked it :D

all my suggestions are in parentheses.

Every second that goes by,
I feel like I'm going to die.

Imagine...
Death.
The word we fear,
each time we hear.(didn't see anything here)

As if it is a living thing,
with the ability to beat(I don't really understand "beat")
or take life - our lives.

I can't help imagine,
the day of judgement
and what follows,
from heaven or (I keep wanting to say "for" right here, but it sounds fine how it is.)hell.

Don't forget the grave
and what you get from it,
whether happiness
or torture!!

that you think of it.
May GOD save us. Amin. (its spelled "amen" not "amin")

Good work! I like it :)

1- (beat) as in hit, you know hurt.
2-(amen)? Are you sure? I've never seen it written like that before.
3- Thanks for your review, effort and help. :D

Amin is Arabic. I'm not sure about Amen, whether it's Hebrew or some other language. But both are correct and both are said at the end of prayers.

You may deem me romantic, my dear sister, but I bitterly feel the want of a friend.
