Part of me feels kind of down that squills only mentioned seven of the people who completed NaPo. I'm sure they have their reasons for it, and I'm not saying that they need to go through the forums and find out who finished and who didn't (that could be quite a chore). I'm not saying that the people who got mentioned need to feel bad or anything (they're all quite wonderful people actually) It just makes me feel a bit discouraged that squills didn't mention anyone. I mean, everyone else who completed NaPo put just as much effort into it as those seven. Even if it wasn't anything in depth, just a "hey this person did it" would have been nice. Something to point out that you exist and are relevant to the site and that people care about your accomplishments.
Maybe I'm just I'm just being needy, but I do feel kind of let down. It's probably due to the fact that getting mentioned in squills (outside of because I follow them) is one of my little "all the time" YWS goals. So far I've been mentioned twice, and both times were for little things I didn't think were that important. This is the only time I ever actually felt like I've actually done something worth it, and it didn't happen. So I guess this kinda hit me a bit harder then it should have.
It also didn't help that the only person to post on my NaPo thread was my buddy from the Buddy Up program (you rock @Aley!). One of the things I love about YWS is how supportive the community is of one another, and it saddens me that I didn't see that portrayed in NaPo.
I dunno, perhaps I'm just tired and thinking too much into things.
AleySpoiler! :
You're right, it really was a chore. Those are all of the people who completed it this year. Don't feel so bad. NaPo this year is going to potentially have badges awarded for those who completed it. ^.-
