Aliens are yawning on their planet
They are tired of attacking earth
Vampires have grown up
No sucking or falling in love
Toilets are being used for a purpose
Slightly better than escaping from baddies
Villain has gained some IQ
He ain't telling his plan to the hero
The dying 'good' man actually lied
His words weren't all true
The dog who identified the criminal
Was trolling the foolish judge!
Same cliches, same story
Has bored me to death
Oh wait, even that was a cliche!

HAHA! Good one! I'm glad someone has written a poem about the incredible sameness we are facing in today's world. The poem is well written, except for the fact that in some lines, you use too few words, such as " villain has gained some IQ". The shortnes of this line gives a weak impression, so maybe you could add THE in front of "villain"? Aside from that, I really like these two lines: "Villain has gained some IQ, he ain't telling his plan to the hero". :B
Keep it up!
And the ending was good.

You have no idea how hard I'm laughing on the inside. Since this was mostly a fun poem, I give no criticism. Love your part on vampires. Very fun. Keep writing.
I like your vampire part as well as your toilette part. However. I don't understand what you mean with Villain has gained some IQ. Do you mean Villains have gained some IQ? Or you could say The villain has gained some IQ. I feel like you could have worded the He ain't telling his plan to the hero. He ain't telling the hero his plan. I think a "these" would go well before "same cliches, same story" and change has to have. and maybe take out the a at the end.
Hello, DivineFool! Well, this won't be much of a review since there are absolutely 0 mistakes that I could find in this poem, but I just thought I would at least leave my opinion on this poem to show one, that I have read it, and two, to inspire you to continue writing your brilliant poems that seem to have a rather satiric and ironic feel to them. This poem was actually quite a cute, funny little poem and I really loved it. It really mocks how humanity is always into the cliche. One of my favorite verses was where you talked about the villains gaining IQ. FINALLY, SOMEONE ADMITS IT! I hope you plan on writing a lot more poems like this, because it was quite amusing. I love the ending, by the way!
Beautiful poem, and as always, keep writing! ~Prez. T
Lol this poem made me laugh! I just love how you poked fun at cliches so easily and turned it into a humorous work of literature. I enjoyed the ending it was quite hilarious! I honestly can say i never thought that cliches could be turned into a work of genius like this. You seem like you have a satirical style that would come rather naturally and not seem forced. I like the play on words you used, it made your work just as entertaining. I also was going to ask about the toilet line but I scrolled down and that made me laugh at that line again xD Nice job, DivineFool
this was very funny , good observation i must admit.
"Vampires have grown up
No sucking or falling in love"- this was the best line i found. the full poem was awesome. no more words, keep writing...
Haha, this poem was great! I especially liked your last two lines, when your speaker uses another cliche without meaning to. Your poem was very enjoyable, but one thing that I would have done differently was the punctuation. You used punctuation in a few places, but for the most part your poem was completely devoid of it. Of course, this is poetry, and you don't have to use punctuation at the end of every line. I just think that in this case it would make your poem easier to read. As a reader I kind of found a need to know when to pause and take a breath when reading through your poem. Just a few commas or periods at the ends of some of your lines would help with this. Overall, excellent poem! Keep writing!
Hello, Kanome here with a review.
I love the cliché lines for each person you placed here.
It really caught my interest, and honestly, this is a great poem even though it's your first free verse.
Nitpicks:
- Vampires
Do you mean tired of sucking blood?
To me, it just makes more sense since they seduce victims, then end up sucking their blood.. at least, I think so.
I didn't really get the this line:
Do you mind explaining it to me? I feel like it's not needed in this free verse poem.
Other than that, this poem is truly remarkable. Good job.
Keep writing.
I can't wait to read more of your work.
Kanome
lol
toilets are used in some action films as an "escape gate"
I used two lines to explain this:
"Toilets are being used for a purpose
Slightly better than escaping from baddies"
it just means, toilets are actually being used, they aren't just for escaping! Anyways thanks for the review!
Changed that line for vampire. Have a look. lol
