I look around to see if anyone is here,
There is no one here right now.
And I am outside of the house,
with the leafs of the trees blowing very softly.
I feel free and happy,
I feel like I can ride the wind.
Stars start to shine up in the sky,
With the moons light shining down on this earth.
the dark grass shimmers with the moons light
My feat are cold from the grass under them.
My heart starts pumping with happens.
Inside of me I can feel a dance of joy
with the look of the things around me,
I can feel comforted.

Hi there EagleFly! Niteowl here deciding to do just a few more reviews to get to RevMo glory!

There's some great imagery in here. I'm especially fond of "I feel like I can ride the wind" and "the dark grass shimmers with the moon's light". Even though we don't know a lot about the speaker, I can guess that he or she likes being alone and in nature. They also might be brave, as some people would be scared being outdoors alone at night, but they find this refreshing and energizing.
I think the ending could be a little stronger. It goes into some description of the emotions, but there's not as much imagery and "I can feel comforted" is not a strong ending line. Maybe instead of saying the look of the things around you brings joy and comfort, you could go with something specific that's comforting.
There's still a few spelling errors, but it looks like you've edited most of the ones previously mentioned, but the one that sticks out to me is "happens" when it should be "happiness".
Overall, I think this is a lovely poem about the joys of nature. Keep writing!
Thank you for the review it really means a lot to me.
Hi EagleFly Shikora here with a review.
What I like
This poem is just lovely. It was very heart warming. I can defiantly see where your coming from when i read this. They way you write your poems is getting a lot better. So keep up the great work.
Over all mistakes
In this sentence I don't think you need to blaze in it, it doesn't really go with the sentence. if you don't want to take the blaze out then you can say it like this.
I think you meant to say comforted.
I think this poem is one of your best so far so keep up the good work.
Your friend
Shikora.
thank you @Shikora for the review it really means a lot to me.
Hello Eagle! It's great to see another one of your poems.
In this piece the main thing I saw was that "now won" should be "no one".
Let's get to the review!
Interpretation
I think this poem is about a person who feels very free when they are able to be by themselves alone and just take in everything around them. You describe the feeling of being outside and just feeling the majesty and happiness of the outdoors. It's a great feeling!
Suggestions
Your spelling and grammar has been improving a ton! Keep working on it, because the progress shows.
One great aspect of the poem was the nature imagery - since this poem is all about the outdoors bringing the person joy, that's a good aspect to highlight. I would have liked just a little bit more imagery though. For instance at the end you say, "with the look of things around me" and I think it'd be more effective to actually describe everything around the speaker - the grass, the trees, the feeling of the ground under their toes etc.
I didn't quite get the first 4 lines' connection with the rest of the poem. What does being lonely or alone have to do with the outdoors? Could you make that connection a bit clearer?
Praise & Overall Impressions
I am very pleased to see you using figurative language in this poem - they make a poem come alive and give an extra layer of meaning. There was this one:
- which paints a great image of a person floating over the wind.
And then this one "Inside of me I can feel my heart is smiling"
that one was a little less effective to me, since it's a bit odd for a bodily organ to be smiling, and it's hard to make language involving the "heart" sound unique. I liked the concept though.
Another aspect that is quite good about this poem is that you painted a specific image. You gave details about the speaker, and then specific details about their emotions. That makes it really easy for a reader to connect with what is being said. Keep it up!
Nice work Eagle, your poetry seems to always be improving!

Excellent! I believe the last word you meant in the poem is "comforted"
okay thanks
Hello hello
This is Wandering lost cloud, happy to be back in action, yay...
So, I will not go into technical aspects of the prose too much, but maybe I can help with 'delivery'.
I do think that the poem was written carelessly. I apologize if I don't get the term right, (am not accurate English language) but what I mean is that, it felt like 'meh'. No rhyme, no rhythm. Like it was written just because it needs to get out. That is good actually but it has to have some sort of flow, yeah, that's it. Let me get into some detail,
First 6 (six) sentences look simple and understandable (I admit that I also felt related with those lines, I am too an introvert).
2nd sentence "There is now won here right now."
I don't know if you're South Korean, and "won" was intended but I don't see any relation to it actually. So I assume it must have meant "victory" of some sort. Or it might be just a typographic error... "There is now won -> (no one) here right now."
Then, out of nowhere, you just turned to a poetic scenery, a deep one on the 7th sentence. I guess it was inserted in an attempt to add "poetic" lines. I do think it failed to connect with the sentences before it.
To sum it all up, the mood was set in the first 6 sentences but lacked the control and impact of flow on the preceding sentences.
Hope you have a good day~
May the writing power be with you always. Wandering Cloud is checking out
thank for the review it means a lot to me.
Hey, there, EagleFly!!
This is Eros here with a review for you!!
I really liked this poem and I can relate it to myself. The real life is so busy and full of hic tick schedules and we just need a break from this busy life, around people. I like the first line itself, where it gives the poem a feeling as if you are making sure if anyone's around.
However, a few nitpicks:
I guess you want to say no one instead of "now won" and "no won"...
Rest, I loved the meaning of the poem... it was a beautiful poem and the flow of thoughts and ideas was also smooth. I loved the way you have expressed your thoughts and the choice of set of the words you have used.
Overall, a great piece of poetry!!
Keep writing!!
Please do tag me...I would be glad to read more of your works...
