Some say that if you
Catch the Wind,
You're a special blessing.
So run after it.
*
Why do people throw away
Their value and their hope?
If you can Catch the Wind today,
You'll save it all, I know.
*
You'll be given lots of love
And great thanks, trust me.
We'll all call you Strong Dove,
Because you fly with the Wind.
*
So if you hear this note,
This little poem of mine,
Why don't you go and
Catch the Wind?
You know it's worth a try.
*
*Yes, I know the last stanza and first stanza don't rhyme and that the last stanza is five lines. Please don't critique that, it was done intentionally.*

This was a cute poem. I didn't exactly see the point of the poem, but it was cute all the same. I don't understand the whole thing you are talking about at the bottom, is it supposed to be like a haiku or something?
anywho, I understand it was one of those non-rhyming poems but hey it's about cloud, and clouds are cute and fluffy, and I like that. I'm rambling aren't I? I should probably stop talking, well would it be considered typing or talking? Eh, I'm just gonna stop talking / typing while I'm ahead.
Good luck with poems and keep up the good work!!
Hi!
Wow- I've never thought about this, like, at all. I love it, though! I love the uniqueness about it, too.
That would be truly amazing if I could catch the wind. It kinda reminds me of catching your shadow or something, y'know? Like, it would be amazing if you could do so.
I feel very ashamed 'cause I didn't even realize the two middle stanzas ryhmed.. -.-
The one thing I saw was this:
I thought the transition between these two lines was rather choppy... Personally, I don't like when poems are like this, but I do think other people may... Just thought I'd point it out, even if you knew already.
The last thing I want to say is how... Hmm.. Light this seems, I guess. I mean, like, it's happy, yeah, but it's light . It just seems there, but it's something. I'm not sure if that makes any sense or not, but hopefully it does.

I would love to Catch the Wind.
I have never really seen life like this, but everyone has a different opinion on life and I'm glad to have been able to read your's. I like the fact that you compare someone who "catches the wind" as a strong dove. Not everyone in this world is strong but if everyone would try things would be a lot different. I like that fact that you encourage people to go after their hoes and desires in the last stanza after explaining yourself in the previous four stanzas. This is a really good poem. I enjoyed it a lot. It wasn't too much where I felt like falling asleep and it wasn't too short where it left me wanting more. It was just the right size to describe your feelings. <3
I like this poem. I'm glad you did that intentional change at the end there; it makes this poem unique, a "special blessing", if you will.
Thanks!
