anchors tied to paper boats | april 2022 | alliyah
after all these years;
my hands still hold anchors tight
while trying to swim.
This year I'm going in a bit less planned than previous years. I'm loosely thinking of playing with some themes of water imagery, anchors, and memory. I've been thinking about YWS and my poetry as a time-capsule a lot lately while reading through old posts and poems and thinking of the dual role of anchors (& memory / & nostalgia /& homes /
