  • Deeply annoyed by these headlines I keep seeing about "gen Z" I feel like maybe some older generation heard about the"okay boomer" and decided to take it to an extreme and act like gen Z has absolutely no future. And I also saw one that actually made me kinda mad "Gen Z will be the first not to experience imposter syndrome" really??
First you're going to make a blanket statement about an whole generation. And then you're going to disregard the feelings of Gen Z and say they are "too entitled". Gen Z and millennials have to fight for everything
A college education and highschool education is getting harder to get. We certainly didn't have a good economy handed to us. Or good jobs. And definitely we don't get handed the respect and trust it takes to get anywhere in the world. In fact, it is actively being taken away. Then there's the whole thing about how school is actually a great deal harder then it was for X'ers and boomers, and we also have to deal with the fear of school shootings and deal with the wars that older generations have brought about. It's just not fair to disregard a younger generation like that.
Anyway, thanks for reading my TedTalk

    1) YOU
    2) School has been a lot less mentally damaging then the last one (but still very stressed from time to time and we are only 4 weeks in, but Optimistic!) And it's good to realize that it wasn't just the normal stress of school everyone has.
    3) new school means more time for things like being here right now<333
    4) I realized a LOT about myself and I am hopeful for new life ahead.
    5) I am begining to have people I know outside of y'all and maybe some might even be friends. And I still have you all here with me to<333333

We all love YWS. It is a special place on the internet where you can find other people with a shared love of writing. We may have all stumbled on to YWS to share our writing, but we often stay for the community.

To celebrate said community, we are delighted to announce that Social Month will be back in February 2023! During the month of February, there will be activities in the People's Tab and forums that will encourage conversation and fun.

  • As kinda part of having a bunch of those dreams where I have to run but I am super slow, and A LOT of things like that. Like the other day I had to cross the street and I like, could barely move and kept of falling down. I am going to add it to my reasons to get more in shape. And thats not to say I think I need to loose weight or something, I don't. But I want to be stronger, have more stamina, be more hydrated, and not feel like a lump sitting in a chair for life. I'm thinking of making like a forum on here but I am not sure if that's allowed? Because I really need accountability. But I also thought that maybe if I had enough people that were interested I could make an accountability club for all kind of life things, anything you need to stay accountable for. I don't know? Just some thoughts...

SpunkyMonkey I'm sorry you've been having dreams like that...and I would LOVE to be accountability partners or something, I kinda need to get in shape heh >.>
    Tue Jan 31, 2023 4:05 pm

Quillfeather AWESOME I would love that too. The dreams or okay, it's just really weird and do not enjoy. But I really feel out of shape and weak. I CAN'T EVEN DO PUSHUPS RIGHT HONESTLY. so, it be cool if we could do that!

    the people delight:

    from dawn to the night.

It was a close match! The winning team who scored the most points, the Clever Elves, poured a magic potion over Big Brother's head and turned the frog back into a dog. But both the Book Wyrms and the Clever Elves' efforts weakened the evil wizard enough to send him scurrying away. All is well again in the Kingdom of Yewis.

The Book Wyrms wrote 52 reviews and earned 5675 points. The Clever Elves wrote 44 reviews and earned 5790 points. With our combined efforts, 96 reviews were written. Fabulous work everybody!
