Well, hello there.

I'm Plume! (Formerly silverquill12.)

I am a humble human with anxiety and an imagination that often leads to me escaping my problems in fanciful ways rather than solving them. I'm a writer in theory, but not in practice. I got my start with prose, but have branched out to poetry and scriptwriting as well.

I have very curly, very dark hair, and very pale skin (probably comes from staying inside literally all the time). I technically need glasses to see, but never wear them, because I can see pretty okay without them. I'm a bisexual through and through, complete with the finger guns, bad puns, and high-waisted everything. (You can never catch me without my shirt untucked.)

If you couldn't tell from my profile, I live for that Angel Aesthetic™

I'm a sucker for piano swells in music and well-written gay romance (feel free to drop LGBTQ+ book recs on my wall). Also cake. I love cake.

Archaic words. Specific art and music pieces that mean something to me. Odd Wikipedia articles. Anthropology of the forensic variety. Drawing poorly. Scrolling through Tumblr. Using ™ too much as a joke. Indie and alternative pop/rock and any subgenres. Musical theater. Shakespeare.

The Weird Aunt Friend™

Words are pale shadows of forgotten names. As names have power, words have power. Words can light fires in the minds of men. Words can wring tears from the hardest hearts.
