As is the nature with these sorts of record books some of them are incomplete and there are more records that could be included! If you notice a record missing or one that needs updating comment with your source and the date and this can be updated as needed. October Record Updates

Hi YWSers! Several records were in need of an update, so here we go! Congratulations to our new record breakers and everyone with new achievements!

Most Forum Posts There's been some upsets on the top 10 forum posters of all time with @MailicedeNamedy (7th) and @Grandwild (5th) moving on up!

Username Changes ~~Magebird~~ @Mageheart's second place record on username changes was updated to reflect that they're now up to NINE username changes! @Omni might be due for a change soon here to avoid Mage catching up...

Most Wall Pages I also updated Mage's wall page count from 520 to 559! That's a lot of chatter.

Team Tortoise Streak Harry recently concluded their last Team Tortoise Streak closing in at nearly 2 years -> with 22 total months, which is reflected now in the records!

KotGR Logged Reviews Knight @HarryHardy has broken Knight BluesClues' previous record of most Green Room logged reviews -> now boasting 1346 logged green room reviews and counting!

Egg Post - The egg post's likes continue to rise 3 years after it was originally posted it's now at 115 likes with room for more

Roleplay Duos - @Shady and @Grandwild's RP "Two Crows watch from the Gallows Tree" is now at part 15 and still moving forward.

& corrections were made to the LSS stats in the record book as @Shady pointed out the winning record had 100,000 + words for their 20 week work!

Major Record Breaking Event!

It is rare for there to be a change in the top 10 on the all time leaderboards, but today a user has managed to make it all the way to the top!

As of today, 12/28/22 @HarryHardy has managed to overtake @Snoink with the most reviews written ever; writing 294 reviews this month alone to manage the last stretch and at the time of this post 3774 reviews total. With this new review jump Harry also has managed to store up over 400,000 points which I don't think anyone in the history of YWS has managed to do before.

Congratulations Harry and thank you for all of your contribution to YWS through reviewing!

End of 2022 Update

A few new records were added to the Big Record Book after our latest YWS Friendsgiving Event! The new record for most gifts over one gift weekend event is 6,714 gifts.

@HarryHardy has beat @Rosendorn's previous record of most gifts given by a user in one weekend by giving an incredible 4,000 gifts. And other top givers were also added to the stats! @Nate still holds the record for most gifts given over total YWS career at over 24K.

Although this December's attempt to break the record for Most Holiday Avvies met a noble 29 users participating, it looks like last year's record of 57 Holiday Avvies continues to stand strong! Maybe next year!

Congratulations to all of our record breakers over 2022! You are all incredible! And this was a record-setting year in many respects!

We had incredible participation in the Randomosity Forums, a change-over in several of the top-10 spots in Reviews & Posts, new records set in poetry and roleplays, and many miscellaneous records tested or broken!

Watch those records in 2023! Happy New Year!

I've been informed that I might qualify for Most Chapters in a YWS Novel. Yesterday, I posted the 107th chapter for the Many Gifts of Malia. (I'm at least five chapters ahead of that in my own writing so that number is going to continue to grow XD). But that's where the number is for now.

Spring Update

@dragonfphoenix it looks like you've earned the record then! Congratulations!

BluesClues previously held the record with 90 chapters! Keep on writing and post here when your novel is done so we can update the final count.

Another record that's been added to the record book - @soundofmind recently completed the 20th edition of the "Last Person to Post Here Wins" thread - I was also present and made the final "closing the post" thread, so giving myself an honorable mention

Well done sound!

And lastly, since the "Longest Reigning Featured Member" (Rosendorn!) was already listed, I decided to add the record for the "Shortest Reigning Featured Member" our last one; @TheEgg holds this distinction of holding the post for just a day.

It'll be interesting to see what records are broken in April ~ Moonglade holds the record for most NaPo poems at 160!

If anyone sees any new records to add, please let me know!

SUMMER RECORD UPDATE

Good morning YWSers! We have a few records to update today!

I like to report whenever there is change within our "Top 10 Records" - for Top 10 most forum posts of all time, @Nate has overtaken @MailicedeNamedy with 13041 total posts, bringing him to spot #7.

In Reviewing ... from the last time we updated these records, @IcyFlame has moved on up from being the 10th in the Top 10 reviewers of all time, but now is at spot number 7! With a grand total of 1505 reviews (and they're still moving! - watch out @KateHardy!)

Speaking of @KateHardy... in the SB world, we have a new record for Longest SB Post (linked above) for their 10,679 word post! ... That is pretty much the length of a full on short story - congratulations!

Doing a little bit of catch-up... I was looking for PMD in the archives and thought I'd use the search function. I'm glad I found this!

I see @KateHardy broke my longest SB post record — congratulations! :D

I don't think there's a record for most discussion topics for a storybook (searching both "DT" and "discussion topic" on the first page here didn't return anything), so in that case, I'd like to claim that in PMD's name!

Well! In the spirit of the Olympics! We have a few awards and records to update -

As mentioned above @BrumalHunter has crushed a number of records in the RP world, and also gets a nice shiny username update!

@Chrysanthemumcentury won fair and square the 21st "Last Person to Post Here Wins" thread.

And we need to update our record of most people to win Team Tortoise in a single month from 9 folks to 13 successful tortoises this June! Congratulations to those steadfast tortoises who participated in the Great Tortoise Race this Summer and broke our record once again! @EllieMae @Coffeewriter @KateHardy @goodolnoah @Moonlily @vampricone6783 @TheRebel2007 @IcyFlame @Ley @Plume @WeepingWisteria @redcarnation @OrabellaAvenue

And (edit) @KateHardy has been added to the shortlist of KotGR knights who have earned a Kingdom! A very rare achievement indeed!
