Hello!

I would like to officially say that the longest running Roleplay has (finally) finished: Aether's Heart has completed on January 22, 2025. It began July 1, 2019, which puts it at 5 years, 6 months, and 22 days.

Now someone else can get the record for the longest running if they want to >.>

@Elektra has been added to the list of users who have earned the overall Gold medal in the YWS Olympics! Congratulations!!

And we have finally put a cap on the end of the LONGEST Running Roleplay (reported by @Obscura) at 5 years, 6 months, & 22 days! (started by @Obscura with cast: @AlyTheBookworm, @soundofmind @ScarlettFire @winterwolf0100, @Chaser) Woo! That is a wonderful accomplishment, let's see if anyone can manage to break it - if you do, please tag me in the year 2030!

What is time?! I thought it was kind of silly to say "tag me in 5 years if you break the record again" but then I looked to see when I started this thread... and yep I started it 5 years ago. @_@

So I guess it's not totally out of the question that I may still be managing this little thread in another 5 years. If not, I officially give permission to mods of the future to keep it updated if I'm not around! But we'll see!

A big congratulations to @vampricone6783 who has just joined the top ten All Time Reviewers! (They actually zoomed all the way to the top 8 before I had a chance to record the record!) Vampricone has been a steady reviewer (and writer!) ever since they joined the site in 2021 - since they've joined they have written 1496 reviews and don't show any sign of stopping soon. Thank you for all your contributions to our site!


SIDE NOTE:
I am curious if Vampricone is also our site's most prolific writer - as in the person who has posted the most writings through the literary center... If vampricone would count up the number of pieces in their portfolio I would be happy to check into it and post it until challenged!

Reporting an update for the record "Most Users with Holiday Avatars at Once" with 58 users in October 2024! Let's Break a Record! Most Halloween Avatars!

Time to finish up our 2025 records a bit! And see what new accomplishments have been made this year!

@candyhearts has been added to the list of YWSers who have won April Madness during the NaPo activities last April!

@Meshugenah has added another notch in their NaPo belt! (17 completed now I think!)

In top literary works of all times, My Best Friend is Gay a YWS classic, has added almost 50 likes from when I first recorded it on this list, so that's been updated now to 284 likes! In that list of top YWS literary works @Carina's popular poem they tell me that writing is a form of art founded on rules has now entered the top 5 list in the last year so has been added to our record book!

@TheEgg is now up to 137 likes on their infamous post with the most likes.

@Tikaya has been added to the exclusive group of YWSers who have earned a KotGR Unicorn! (Congratulations - good luck in the training of that fantastical beast!)

Our reviewing scoreboard has quite the upset in the All Time Leaderboard top 10 with @creeperfeverdreams darting towards the top! As of today, @creeperfeverdreams is now in the top 3!

(I would love to know if creeperfeverdreams actually also has broken the record for most works posted on the site - but don't have time to count them, any volunteers? the current known record sits at 369 works held by Rook)

In top 10 most forum posts of all times @Snoink has moved up a few ranks too, and now is in the top 6 for for the All Time Leaderboard for forum posts!

Congratulations to all of our fabulous record breakers and all the accomplishments that have been made recently! What records will we break in 2026!?

Anyone know if we've broken the record for most people in a single WFP in a single day yet? Last record was 35! I bet we could break that record in 2026, who wants to try? If someone from Storybook Crew wants to update me on any new completed SBs to add to my list, or if someone sees something else I've missed updating, don't hesitate to let me know! Always happy to add more of your record-breaking achievements! <3

I want to add another major record break: @creeperfeverdreams has broken the record for most posted literary works on the site with a whopping 903 literary works! Thanks for giving us so much to read! That's a whole literary world to explore right there!

Cool! Looks like unless I've miscounted somewhere we now have a 3 way tie for most username changes between the artists formerly known as Jhinx, 269609, and spatula! (aka @Omni, @AresFig, & @cocteau!) thanks you three for keeping us on our toes - be sure to check in here next time one of you changes your username so we can keep the race going!

i'm not sure if it was added, but last year during NaPo, i wrote 182 poems! (after recounting)-- the most poems written so far during a NaPo!

It's at 468 now even though one of my latest says 478. I think i deleted a few.

Also, I did not know I held so many records, let alone for first completed storybook. o.O

(ETA: herb beat my 40-something napo poems from a few years ago. ;-;)
