Welcome to year 3000, and see how Earth has changed. Now with advanced technology, and Space research, the planet has changed dramatically. Earth, now made of two countries, known as Vesperia (Once Western Continents), and Orienus (Once Eastern Continents), is at war with one of the most advance Terrestrial Societies, the Noxcus. We have been able to keep a tight grip, and haven't been easily broken by the enemy, but we're beginning to fumble. Our only hope are special soldiers called the Jeweloids, advanced humans that over time, were trapped and frozen in special pieces of ice throughout the globes oceans, and as time passed, absorbed the special abilities of the ice that they were encased in. In our military facilities, the beings have freed from their ice prisons, and with the help of special officers, are trained, and taught to trust us, so they may fight along side us to defeat the Noxcus. That's what Isugoro, a new transferred soldier, knows as he starts his new duties at the Gelus Base, established close to where Seattle once was. Though, his duties become perplexed as a specific new Jeweloid has been discovered. Her name is Maggie, code name, LAPIS. Found to be from our time, LAPIS is discovered to own the abilities from one of the most rare and powerful types of ice, fired blue ice. This makes her a target of not only Terrestrial Gangs, but the Noxcus themselves. With that on mind, her guards, and new comrades have a lot to deal with, especially Isugoro, as he's assigned as her personal superior and trainer. But, will LAPIS be able to get over the shock of loosing her long lost life and family in Alaska soon enough to help save human society?
