Continental Apocalypse- around 2200, the governments of most countries on Earth collapsed due to depleting economies, uprisings, and faltering rulers. Nuclear Wars raged, killing approximately 6.6 Billion people in a span of 30 years. Only 5 of the once existing 213 countries still stood when all came to peace finally; The United States, Australia, Japan, France, and Cuba. At the end, the Great Uniting came into existence.

Faxsens(Fax-sens)- Then Language spoken by the Faxcaecus, a Terrestrian Allie of Earth from the Opes Galaxy, or the Whirlpool Galaxy as we call it today

Great Uniting- At the end of the Continental Apocalypse, in which the two current continental countries where created, Vesperia and Orienus, with similar governments. These principles are still what the countries follow today.

Insanity State- The limit where the Jeweloid may or may not go into a state of confusion or even criminal insanity. It's caused by the type of radiation that their power shocks leave over, as well as stress. It's also in this state the the Jeweloid's true potential and strengths are revealed, even to the point of the release of their soul weapon.

Jeweloid- The term used for the beings which are stronger then normal soldiers, and actually have powers. These advanced humans over time were trapped and frozen in special pieces of ice throughout the globes oceans, and as time passed, absorbed the special abilities of the ice that they were encased in. The city at the middle was attacked in the Plannis Massacre

Plannis Massacre (Plan-iss)- Occurred in 2995, when a squad of 5 Noxcus ships attacked the Plannis Valley at the heart of Vesperia, killing over 10,000 innocent civilians in their bloody raid. This enraged the Vesperian and Orien people and it's allies, sparking the current war

Power Processor- A unit of the base where Jeweloids are made safe by the standards of Gelus. In the process, there is a limit where the Jeweloid may or may not go into a state of confusion or even slight criminal insanity which is caused by the type of radiation that their power shocks leave over, as well as stress. At that time, they will lose the ability to make clear decisions, and make the choice between right and wrong to the point that may even perceive allies as an enemy, and might attack. Only when the Jeweloid that's ordained to watch is able to see a steady and controlled pattern of her power will the state begin to fade off

This is a really good idea. I think including this type of thing for stories like yours is very beneficial. Now with having this up, the story will be a lot easier to understand while reading. I also like how you provide the proper pronunciation for some of the harder words.

One thing I would suggest is maybe putting the words in bold, then having the definition in regular text. I think that would be easier on the eyes, and also help navigate through the words faster. Keep writing, Serene! :)

Thanks for your review, I'll definitely do the bolding, thanks for the tip!

Well, this isn’t a review proper, but I can’t help myself. I am one of those people who love linguistics, and as such, can’t simply leave this hanging. Sorry that I didn’t actually read LAPIS, but anyway: (By the way, did you know that Lapis, or Lapis Lazuli, is a rare mineral? I thought of ancient civilizations when I read you title. xD)

The United States, Australia, Japan, France, and Cuba. At the end, the Great Uniting came into existence.

Well, this isn’t exactly semantical but whatever…

The one thing I had to ask when I came to this was: Why?

Even though this all takes place in the future, you still need to do your research. Why this countries? Are they the most logical? What changed? Why?

Now personally, I think this is a bit unrealistic. Cuba? Japan and America are relatively technologically advanced (but so are places like India, despite the economy) but Cuba has… so many problems. Australia because it’s an isolated continent? None of this makes much sense. You need to do your research. Economy, geography, society, all of it comes into play when dealing with the success or failure as a country. Military speaking, things are even more complicated.

Point being, don’t throw stuff in at random just because it sounds cool.

Faxsens(Fax-sens)

Faxens is fine. It’s essentially pronounced the same way, and no words exist where “x” is followed by “s.” (at least, none that I know of)

Faxcaecus

O_o. Well, I don’t speak French but still… how do you pronounce this? Isn’t there an easier spelling?

Orienus (Or-een-us)- The Eastern Continent/Country of Earth. Very Influenced by Japan, France, and Australia. Has a Democracy just as Vesperia, and speak mainly Japanese and English

Here as well as elsewhere, why do none of the country names reflect the language of their origin? Orienus would not exist in Japanese, the closest equivalent is Orienu, which is pronounced oh-ree-en-oo. Just thought I’d point this out.

Vesperia (Ve-spear-e-a)- The Western Continent/Country of Earth. Very influenced by the United States, from it's government to military. A democracy and speak mainly Japanese and English

There is no “V” in Japanese. They therefore picked a country name that half of them can’t say!
Besides all that, there are a ton of English misspellings in here. You might want to run a spell check.

It looks like you have everything pretty fleshed out here, it looks interesting.

In regards to building your own language, fantasy or sci-fi-wise, I found that this site: http://conlang.org/

Is indispensible. It is well worth your time.

Also, in regards to superpowered soldiers and aliens and such:

I hope I was of some assistance here, keep writing!

The words are latin, or made of latin subscripts
It's funny, cause it's actually brought up in chapter 7 when Cent starts making random notions on why are the countries named what they are (he thinks randomly a lot), and Isugoro explains it.

I haven't even gotten chapter 7 out yet XDD

Yeah, I was in the middle of researching things when I first wrote this (I did the intro about 7 months ago), and because I was on a time crunch (the intro was also used as a project in my writing class), I picked Cuba and Australia. Those are going to be changed, that I can assure you.
I have been looking, and I probably will make India one of the countries, but at this time, it's kinda up in the air.

Thank you for the links, I will definitely use them :D

This was very much needed to understand your chapters however it was good to imagine ourselves so you have improved upon my imagination! The dictionary is a great idea, uses your own words into sense - congratulations with your ideas and keep going - you cant improve on a dictionary so ultimately you are a genius if I say so myself

Thanks, I'm glad you like it :D
