B392-Alice and the aliens

*This story is underneath my folder titled “Alice and the aliens”. Gacha Club character designs are under my forum titled “My character designs<33[2]”. Enjoy!*

In a planet called “Somniat Memoria”, where the grass had -specks of stars embedded into them and the air smelled like freshly cut flowers, there was a little blue-skinned and purple-haired girl, staring out of the living room window with orange snake eyes. She was all dressed up in a gray long-sleeved shirt with a bow stitched near the neckline, a black skirt, black and gray socks, white boots with lightly-toned gray bows on the side, and a dark gray bow that almost looked black on the top of her head.

Her name was B392 and she loved going out to the Somniat Memoria fair! It was a fair where all the Somense Memorians gathered around to showcase their artwork and so, B392 couldn’t wait until her parents got out of bed and got themselves ready to go, because she made a painting of which the colors would burst right out of the canvas if she swirled her claw on the surface and she just had to be ready as soon as possible!

Her little brother, A2614, was outside, putting his claws up to take the sun’s energy. All Somense Memorians ate their food by taking the sun’s energy. B392 wasn’t going to eat yet, because she wanted to wait until the sun was at its brightest, until the sky wasn’t the pink-orange early dawn that it was in the moment. B392 would go upstairs and wake up her parents, but no amount of shaking them or making loud noises would wake them up, so she would just have to wait…and wait…and wait…and-

A whirring noise swirled outside, growing louder and louder with every second, accompanied by an orange glow. The ground was not the only thing shaking, for B392 could feel shaking in her stomach…in her heart…

The Life Seekers were right outside of her house, stealing her parents blood! The Life Seekers were a group of absorption vampires who wanted to take anyone’s blood, no matter who they were. Absorption vampires had to absorb blood with their hands or other technology to survive, but the Life Seekers weren’t just trying to survive. They were trying to conquer.

And so, B392 got up from the couch and ran towards her parents’ room, paying no mind to the shaking on the ground and the shaking in her legs, determined to get to them before the Life Seekers drained their blood.

Once she got to the door of their bedroom, she opened it and ran right to the spot where her parents were, who were writhing on the floor from the orange light, their blood being sucked away and bringing shock waves throughout.

B392 knew that if she so much as stuck her claw out to the area where the orange light was, she would risk being in the same position as her parents, but…if she just got ahold of one of their claws…if she was somehow able to pull them out of danger…she couldn’t not try…she couldn’t-

Dad gripped her wrist, his orange eyes embedded with the word No. He could only weakly gasp out said word before he started shaking and convulsing again, his claw letting her go and his rolling into the back of his head.

B392 wasn’t just about to give up just because Dad said no, so she reached out for his claw again and-

“Stop…stop…it. Go…we…are…we are going to die. Just…run…get your brother…RUN!”

Dad screamed out the word, green-glitter blood pouring from his mouth. He let go of B392, but not without scratching her wrist from how much the orange light made him shake on the ground.

B392 wiped the tears from her eyes, pushing off the fearful thoughts that may have circled her mind. Why was he telling her no? Why couldn’t he just let her save him? Why did he want her to go away?

She ran over to Mom, trying to grab her claw from her spot away from the light, but Mom was shaking so much that her claws were too fast for B392 to grab, so, she ran straight into the orange light, because if she grabbed her parents fast enough, then maybe the orange light wouldn’t hurt her and-

B392 felt like her whole body was being stabbed, pinpricks of needles seeping right through her skin and into her bones…her knees buckled underneath her…was her whole body going to break like mirrors? Why were her bones clicking all against each other, melding against each other, why were they CLICKING SO MUCH?! Why-

“Listen to your father. Get out!” Mom screeched amidst her shaking, kicking B392 away from the orange light.

B392 was kicked right next to her parents’ bed, a feeling like the worst stomach ache ever from Mom’s kick rushing through her, the bones on her back felt like they were bruised on the inside from how hard she was kicked, but it was nothing compared to the horrible bone-clicking and stabbing pinpricks she felt from the orange light.

When tears came out of B392’s eyes, she didn’t bother to wipe them. She didn’t even try to stifle her own sobs that spilled out of her body. Her parents kept warning her and A2614 about the Life Seekers and tried to get the public to go against them as well. Her parents said that they wanted B392 and A2614 to be safe and wary, that they and the other good Somense Memorians would band together to fight them, but…B392 never thought that her parents would fall victim to them. It just…it didn’t seem likely. It didn’t seem possible, like something that would actually happen to her parents.

But there they were, writhing on the floor, pleading with B392 to go and save A2614 from the Life Seekers, to possibly run away and never see them again.

Her heart felt like it was going to sink deep into her stomach and collect residue that would build up from her tears and her terror, residue that would eventually spread throughout her body and make her as still as a statue, but, B392 still ran out the room.

If seeing her parents struggle with the orange light from the Life Seekers’ ship, the light that sucked their blood, made B392 feel that sick, she didn’t want to imagine A2614 in that kind of pain. He was so little, so sweet. He didn’t deserve to know how much it hurt to have the Life Seekers take his blood! B392 only felt it briefly, but even then, it felt like a death sentence.

She was going to save A2614 and take him far, far away from the Life Seekers, and if, by the time she went back to her house and her parents were gone, then she’d tell A2614 what happened and together, they’d work on a plan to stop them. Forever. Make them feel like their bones were clicking, that there were pinpricks along their bodies, that their brains were burning.

Her parents were working to stop them. If they couldn’t do it, then she and A2614 would.

They’d make the Life Seekers understand that bad people deserved bad things to happen to them.

“Somniat Memoria” is just Latin for “Memory Dreams” and “Somense Memorians” is just the name I came up with for the civilians of that planet.

Next one in line!

First thought, why the dash in front of specks in the first sentence?
Also a bit soon to get so much description of the MC without any other context. Maybe try to combine descriptions with her actions to give a smoother intro?

Ohh she’s the sister of Byron, let’s go!

Uhm this sentence comes completely out of nowhere:

The Life Seekers were right outside of her house, stealing her parents blood!
I wish you would show how she knows that. Like, does she see their ship? Does she hear a specific noise? How does she know its her parents and not someone else they are here for?

Oh man, the orange light absorption thing is very well described. Really feeling for her dad here… ☹
Is there no way to reach the ship and stop the light?

I really like the resolve of continuing her parents’ work! And especially that final line. Excellent!

She knows it%u2019s her parents because she, A2614, and her parents live in that house.

Thx for reading!

G'day! Here to leave a review for this wonderful story. I'll be using my Pumpkin Pie method. Let's go!

The Crust (the foundation of your story):

1. The Characters were introduced in a lovely way.

2. I loved B392's relationship with her brother and her excitement for the fair.

The Filling (the body of your story):

1. I love all the insight we get into the characters. I could feel B392's excitement for the fair, and I could feel her pain when she realized what was happening to her parents.

2. Maybe it's because I love drama, but I really loved the body in general. Well done.

The whipped cream (all the extras):

1. The description of the orange light was really well done. You wrote it in a way I could understand her pain and confusion, and anger.

2. I felt her need to defend her sibling on a deeper level (I have 4 younger siblings so...yeah, lol.)

Overall, great work. This one has to be one of my favourites. Keep on writing. I'll be looking forward to more.
