In Poems

Verse I

Tell me,
what you're too afraid to tell yourself.
Believe in me,
when you can't believe in anything else.

Verse II

Trust me,
when you do want to walk alone.
And love me,
when they're in love with someone else.

Chorus

'Cause I'm right here,
(yours to hold)
and I don't care,
(yours to hold)
about those things,
(you were told)
I am yours to hold.
Yours to hold.

Verse III

Look to me,
when you can't do things yourself.
Lean on me,
when you can't rely on someone else.

Chorus

'Cause I'm right here,
(yours to hold)
and I don't care,
(yours to hold)
about those things,
(you were told)
I am, yours, to, hold.

Bridge

And I won't stop now;
I won't let go.
You mean too much
for this to be your last road.
So take my hand;
I'll help you up,
bring you to where I am.

'Cause I'm yours to hold.

Chorus II

I'm right here,
(yours to hold)
and I don't care,
(yours to hold)
about those things,
(you were told)
I am yours...

I am yours.

Yours to hold.

Believe in me,
when you can't believe in anything else...

Wow! I just found this on your signature. This is really good! Songs are very open-ended musically, especially since there's no way for readers to see the tune, but I can tell how you laid it out rhythmically. Do you have a melody for it yet?

I have something in mind, yes, but have yet to lay out the actual melody for it. Composing music is a lot harder than I thought. ; )

I sthis a song, because it really sounds like one!

I really like this, I truely do.
I don't think there are negatives, so I'll start with the posatives.

Detail - Amazing amout! All of it's deatailed.
Lyrics - Clearly, all the lyrics have been thought about carefully, and thats always great, because you ahve something greatb to show at the end.
Layout - GREAT! You've spaced it all, and set it out neatly, so it make it even better, and there's more to be proud of!

Please, keep writing more!

Well, well, well, I got to say this is good, really good the rhyme scheme was decent at most. And to me it really sounds like a love song from the way I was reading it, mainly ones that you try to clam yourself with after you been crying a long time. But that is just my honest opinion, but I can't really see anything wrong with this, but then again thats me and I'm not to good at reviewing songs or poetry for that matter. Just giving it a try really, but yes thats all I can say about this.
