Blood seeps out
From a flower amidst thorns.
The child betrays his mother
The unborn
To the everlasting.
Love's reward
Was a spit
By the uncircumcised.
Perfum in a wine
Will never be worthy enough
To quench the thirst of sacrifice.
Purity is a lamb upon the altar
Of sin.

Whoa. Whoa. I'm sitting here speechless. I just.. Whoa. That was pretty deep there, man. I don't know how to better congratulate you for this other than to say, "Whoa".
Is there supposed to be a period after "mother"? I was a little confused in the first half of the poem, just because of phrasing. Perhaps, would you consider, changing it around there? TO be less confusing?
Whoa.. Just whoa. Keep up the deep and meaningful poems, man.
Your style of writing is difficult and elusive but I'm going to try to capture it as accurately as I can and maybe you can help me out?
"Blood seeps out
From a flower amidst thorns."
I'm guessing this literally means that some innocent person is suffering at the hands of evil men or at the very least there is oppression of the innocent.
"The child betrays his mother
The unborn
To the everlasting."
People aren't faithful to one another and betrayal seems the order of the day.
"Love's reward
Was a spit
By the uncircumcised."
People are hateful to one another, in a bombshell - love is despised.
"Perfum in a wine
Will never be worthy enough
To quench the thirst of sacrifice."
So no amount of alternative appeasement will satisfy this need to offer a sacrifice.
"Purity is a lamb upon the altar
Of sin."
What could more useless than offering Purity as a sacrifice on an alter of sin, bottom line- purity is useless or has been completely ignored to the point of being obsolete.
My interpretation maybe wide off the mark but assuming it isn't then you paint a picture of a very dark world, "no church in the wild."
One final thing, I'm guessing the use of italicised text was deliberate? It has achieved a spooky kind of effect.
You're good!
Woah, can't really describe the feeling when I was reading that. Best way I could put it is that it was right up my street
First two lines made me just want to keep reading. "Purity is a lamb upon the altar" That right there was just great. I find it really hard to find the words to describe how amazing I think this piece is
