A lonely heart is difficult to cure
without a compass of compassion,
that directs one through
the blizzard of bewilderment.
This gift for free
opens your heart,
there's nothing quite like it
as long as you're here.
Quietly warming precious moments
that eases the pain,
guiding in all directions
patiently waiting to give sympathy.
Treat the heart with care
don't shatter the fragile glass,
goes in like a bullet
but can always heal.

Love this! It really makes me feel something. What gift are you talking about in the second stanza? In the last stanza, I am confused about what goes in like a bullet. Are you trying to convince me to open my heart? If so keep it consistent. You are very vague and I think this poem would have more punch if you were more specific.
Hi there, just a quick review,
Let me just begin with your poem is great! I loved the emotion that seemed to radiate from the stanzas. Was this poem from experience or a special place or just a quick fix of the mind?
I loved the ending line especially, I find that what makes a poem most often than not is how powerful the ending line is and yours certainly was.
Honestly, the only qualms I have with this poem is that there just wasn't enough of it! Maybe next time a longer version???
But great poem and keep on writing
