Just inside my chest
above
where my ribs separate
*
like a stone, right there
between my lungs
and next to my heart.
crushing it,
(my heart)
between its toothless gums.
It aches, my heart.
*
It aches.

I liked the refrains here, it really evoked the heaviness of the feeling. First stanza is great, locating this feeling in anatomy and staging the poem's core. The overall receptiveness of the poem might otherwise annoy me but here really settles in the imagery. Simplicity serves this well, loneliness can feel so utterly simple at times.
Hey there.

So, I like the concept here. You basically described the position and the ache. Why don't you add something to it? I mean make it more lengthy and ass more structure to it.
The skeleton was there, but no content. Add some element to it.
Otherwise, I loved it.
Good job.
Keep writing and stay blessed.

Hello. It's review time! I'm Lyrical Rebel.

First of all, I don't understand why you placed an asterisk there. If your intention was to end a sentence, then you can just put a period after the sentence but if not, you can always remove the asterisk. Of course, what I say is always just a suggestion.
So, I would suggest you remove the period after the word "heart" because you have not finished the sentence yet so a comma would definitely suffice. Also, the "(my heart)" should be placed after the word "it" just before the comma so the reader would understand that "it" pertains to your heart.
So this poem depicts pain, a theme where most of us are acquainted to. The fact that it's an emotion common to everyone and that you have relayed it in a creative way is great. You can definitely feel the speaker's emotion by the tone of the poem.
So, he reason I put an asterisk there is because stanza-inch doesn't work in YWS publishing- don't know why. And asterisks look like cute little snowflakes separating the lines- so I like them.
Thank you for the review, and I will keep your comments in mind!
Haha. I understand the snowflake part. No problem.
