A gentle wind stirs dry Autumn leaves from their slumber,
They ascend from the floor, ever twirling betwixt us, as though alive again.
I look at you, and feel myself captivated.
Your look, feel and aromatic sensation that are so innocent, so pure,
Wrap me in love's alchemy,
Making our spirits soar into the ever after.
Your hands touch upon my face with the tenderness of an angel's kiss,
Their soft palms enthrall me and enchant my true emotions.
I know now, tis everlasting, our love.
T'is more powerful than any mad lust, uniting our souls in divine passion.
Heaven, I pray, ne'er have this love die,
Ne'er have it fade,
Instead make it blossom beautifully for all eternity,
A wonder for all to see

Ooh, this is a treat! I really enjoyed reading this. I specifically like the tone you used. It seemed to fit well with theme of the poem.
However, the lines just seemed to be jumbled together, not in a specific order. There were no patterns involved in the poem, which was a little disappointing, to be honest.
There was a rhyme at the end (eternity and see), which made me look for other rhymes or a pattern. When I didn’t find anything, I was a little annoyed if I’m completely honest.
Other then those things, I found this to be a really good poem. Sorry this review is so short, but really, it’s so good, I can’t find much else to say.
Well done on a brilliant poem and I hope this helps!
Thank you so much for the review. The rhyme wasn't done deliberately so I'm sorry that showed up. I apologise for disappointing you however and promise to strive for better poems in the future.
This was an amazing read. What I liked the most is the tone of your poem, it is flourished
with confidence. Confidence is the one which makes anything so damn strong.
It was well portrayed in these following lines:
"I know now, tis everlasting, our love.
T'is more powerful than any mad lust, uniting our souls in divine passion.
Heaven, I pray, ne'er have this love die,
Ne'er have it fade,"
I just loved these lines.
The intense of the speakers's feel was felt by your words.
The security that love gives is through it's tenderness, the feel you get out of it promises the immortality.
These following lines were remarkable in stating it strong:
"I look at you, and feel myself captivated.
Your look, feel and aromatic sensation that are so innocent, so pure,
Wrap me in love's alchemy,
Making our spirits soar into the ever after."
Your theme of the poem is so powerful, these lines below described the beauty of love beautifully.
"Your hands touch upon my face with the tenderness of an angel's kiss,
Their soft palms enthrall me and enchant my true emotions.
I know now, tis everlasting, our love.
T'is more powerful than any mad lust, uniting our souls in divine passion."
The emphasis you gave on the speaker's feeling was amazing. I felt each and every word.
It is tough to put the words together to make the reader feel, what the speaker felt. You nailed it.
These lines were the highlight:
"Instead make it blossom beautifully for all eternity,
A wonder for all to see"
