Author's Note: It's just what the title says. (Shocker there!) This was inspired by the blonde lady in the white BMW I was behind yesterday...I kinda hope she finds this somehow. Enjoy.
Bad Drivers
Why don't you just turn?
Please don't run into that kid.
Stop singing and drive.

This poem was very creative. I very much enjoyed it. I also love how it's put together, as a haiku. It actually brings memories back to me because haiku's were the very first poetry i ever remember writing about. You're very good at this, and you took real life, shook it a tad, and you gave us poetry. That's magic right there. Please keep writing, my friend. You have the talent.
this was basically so funny..........i don't get Haiku's but i enjoyed this. Nice one!
Drive-by comment just to say that, technically, this isn't a haiku, but a senryu. Both haiku and senryu have the same basic syllable structure, but haiku are all about nature and require an additional structure called a kigo, which basically cuts the haiku into two distinct parts, and a season word. Senryu, on the other hand, are all about human nature and experiences, like the one depicted in this poem.
Wow! I never knew there was a difference! Thanks so much for your insight.
No problem!
Hey GreenLight24!

I'm really beginning to LOVE haikus nowadays. I don't think that this would be a review, just a comment. There's nothing to fix, so... Haha. I really laughed a lot reading this. I can totally empathize. The line, 'Please don't run into that kid.' was the funniest part of all! Wonderful work!
Keep on writing, Mephis
So many terrible drivers in this day and age. Love this haiku, but you should extend it! I would love to read a longer poem about bad drivers. I experience so many everyday
I love you for making this and uploading this.
You made my day so much right now.
Two days ago I was walking with my friend to walmart and we see these teenagers get out of an old Toyota, and they leave the radio on for some odd reason. So the radio is blasting and my friend and I go in walmart and buy our snacks for the field trip tomorrow. Anyway when we come out the three teenagers are pulling out and they almost crash into an old lady and I guess she for mad because she started yelling in a different language and she hit the back of the car with her cane and then she started walking again. Anyways short story first the teenager that was driving crashed over the curb.
Lol. Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.
I'm a teenager too currently learning to drive and it's insane because I am just so much better than most ppl in my area who've had their licenses for a while! XD
Messenger here to review for you Green Light, because I am sick of bad drivers and I'm not even driving yet xDDD
Bahjahahahaha that was so good. I mean that was amazing. The last sentence especially was so silly and funny. Also, I like your formatting and writing "the End" at the end of it. I think you could really expand this into a full-blown poem, but it also works well as a short, as a point to be made.
As for the real-life lady, grr what an evil person, using a BMW to do evil work tsk tsk tsk my cousin would not be happy xDD Anyway, I wholeheartedly agree with you on this. Not really much else to review about it hee hee. Thanks for the laugh

Hahaha. Thanks for this review. This was too funny to read.
i get behind these people all the time, but i never considered writing a poem about it. i think you could have chosen a different format and went into a bit more detail about the driver and the situation, as a haiku it just seems too short. but then again, brevity is the soul of wit.
the 7 made me smile. nice little haiku.
Emm...I guess it has a potential to be written in other type of poetry
I just think haiku is too short to make me understand your poem. That title is interesting and I love how you came up with the idea
