A Poem About Newton's Laws

Yup. WFP is back. 507 days ago, I wrote about Newton's Laws. I can't believe I wrote it, but I remember when I did. xD So... I thought I'd share, cause I find it to be pretty amusing.

Hello, Class!

I'm here to tell

the real story of Newton,

and what he didn't share.

He discovered it when he was three years old.

When he dropped his baby bottle

off the craddle to the floor.

Because being a scientist has nothing to do with age,

it's about being curious enough to observe.

When a ton of apples fell on his head,

He exclaimed, "Ouch. Man, that hurt!

Probably because everything falls down.

Obviously!

Now I'll call it "gravity",

and make it sound like complexity!"

That's the real story,

about Newton and his laws.

He wasn't a scientist

just a very clever man.

i love the theme of the poem. i actually say that newton and archimedes are the cleverest aqnd luckiest man because they were the one who were casually spending there time diving in bathtubs and one that throws his apple. this poem is a good joke on newton one guily of increasing the trouble of the students u took a bit of revenge. hha just joking. as for the poem it is good i like the way u said that he dropped thee milk bottle down his cradle.really scienctist has nothing to do with age . then the bunch of apple on him proved complexity , o sorry it was gravity. . congrats on a good work.

Haha. Thanks lol

Heya Geelyria!!

This is Eros here to review your awesome work!!

I read the poem about the Newton's law of Gravity. It was a sweet story. Imagining the three years old Newton with barely some teeth discovering the great Gravity is really sweet. The story is full of humour and very sweet. The falling of the baby bottle and the apples hrting Newton is described perfectly.

I enjyed reading the poem. You are doing great!Keep it up!

Hi, GeeLyria!
Since I'm new, you have the honor to be my first review, so just bare with me XD

This was a very interesting poem. I have definitely never read one like it. Congratulations on being original! I did spot a few minor things.

In the first stanza:
"the real story of Newton, and what he didn't share." The comma that you see after "Newton" I feel was unnecessary. It just doesn't belong :)

In the second stanza:
You misspelled "cradle". Also, instead of dropping his baby bottle "off" of the cradle, you should try "from" the cradle "onto" the floor. Now let us move on to the next line! "Because being a scientific has nothing to do with age," The word "Because" doesn't belong when you aren't explaining anything and "a" doesn't belong there either. You could also end this line with a period instead of a comma and capitalize the following lines first letter.

In the third stanza:
If I remember correctly, it was only one apple that fell on his head. Knowing that, I recommend that you adjust that line into stating so. Also, whenever there is a quotation within a quotation the single apostrophe is used to symbolize that. For example: "When he said that to me I laughed and said, 'you're silly!'". So the quotation marks in front of the word "gravity" should be dimmed down to only uno mark on each side! :) I also feel like you are missing the word "a" in front of "complexity".

In the final stanza:
The only comma in this stanza should be moved two lines down. Instead of what you already have, it should look more like,
"That's the real story
about Newton and his laws.
He wasn't a scientist,
just a very clever man."
See what I did there? Pretty easy, right? :)

The overall poem was extremely creative, however, it was difficult for me to figure out the rhythm of it. I hope this aids you in your future poetry! Happy writing! :)

Great review, my friend. Thank you.
Welcome to YWS! Feel free to ask me if you need help<3 Or anything at all. xD Gracias.
