Spoiler! :
Just like in real life, many Knights are more well-off in terms of gold coin than others. Like you, I came from a family that could not afford luxuries like mounts or even swords, so I have earned each relic of Knighthood through the sweat of my brow.
Others had the resources to bring horses to the table with them, although they will be rewarded one of the beauteous beasts from our own stables when the time comes, and I reckon they'll find the superior breeding more to their liking.
Yours Faithfully, Knight Hannah
And from the other end of the hall, a blacksmith clunks in with a shining bright sword in one hand and a shield slung in the other.
"Knight Althur?" (@DarkKnight9) he cries, "Your things!"
When he receives no immediate reply, the blacksmith tries a few swings with the sword. Knight Althur comes up to him from behind and manages to startle him to his knees with a parry from a wooden practice sword.
"Thank you kindly," says the Knight. The blacksmith bows and scurries off after the messenger.
