Critiques, Anyone?

NOTICE!!!

I am leaving YWS for a while. Not permanently, but most likely a good chunk of time. Meaning?

I won't be critiquing your stuff.

If you still want one, or I actually owe you one (like Jiggity), then wait a bit and repost when I reopen.

When I do reopen, there will be a list of FIVE critiques. I will NOT go any larger than that, and if you request one when I'm full, I WILL refuse to critique it. I'm not getting over my head again.

Sorry, guys. But I'm not the only critiquer out there - most of you have probably forgotten that I owe you one. So just ask for one on a newer piece in a month or so.

Why Should I Ask YOU For A Critique?

Because I’m amazing, and you love me. Actually, there are several reasons:

1. I just won Suzanne’s best critique contest. First place.
2. I was the featured member for most of July.
3. I have five stars, and have received the last two in just a month or two.
4. I am on Rieda’s star review list.
5. I am now an Instructor. I was nominated by six people.
6. I was the Instructor of the Month for June.
7. I have over 300 critiques, and I don't think any of them got me less than 50 points.
8. I am a member of SPEW. xD

So, interested?

What Will You Critique?

I am best at action/adventure, romantic, and other. I can do pretty much anything, though – don’t hesitate to ask. (I’m even willing to do advanced critiques, though I take longer for those.)

What Don’t You Critique?

- No graphic sex scenes
- Ask for a critique on chapter ONE, then have me continue. Don't say 'go read chapter 23!'
- Pick something - no 'anything at all!'

How Many Pieces Can I Ask For?

Hundreds.

What Are You Good At Finding?

- Grammar/spelling
- Emotions
- Flow
- Realism (needed for all types of writing, including fantasy.)
- Character development
- Description
- Dialogue.
- General atmosphere.
- Character History (with each other, themselves, etc.)
- Atmosphere (the basic things you notice when you first enter a room, like lighting and occupants.)

Eh… maybe more, but that’s off the top of my head. Ask for something, and I’ll keep an eye out for it.

I do critique on FanFiction.net. I was there before here, just writing anything. I have since stopped posting on that site, but I continue to critique there, which is why you will see them listed here. I currently beta-read (critique) for six people over there, all relatively decent authors who allow me to rip their pieces to shreds as you do. xD

Hello, everyone! Me again. I have reviewed (most) of what have been posted on here for me, and many others by the same authors.

I have good news, though!

I will be on a major critiquing spree on Friday, when we have the day off for a teacher's workshop.
