Hello, reviewers of YWS!
As you may have noticed, our beloved Green Room has been filling for quite some while. At last count, we were over 200 works in there!! While this is great in some ways—more works are being posted, yay!—it’s also sad, because that means there are some writers not getting reviewed, and not getting the feedback they need to push them forward on their journey.
And with NaPoWriMo coming up, there is sure to be a lot of lovely poetry filling it up, too. That’s why I’m taking matters into my (and your) hands, and organizing an unofficial contest!
In this topic, claim a spot and track all your Green Room reviews from March 18-31, 2025!
Now, you might be wondering, what’s in it for me? (Other than the joy of knowing you gave some amazing feedback to an aspiring writer, of course)
Anyone who completes 5 or more QUALITY Green Room reviews by the end of the contest will get a moodboard by me, based on your vibe!
And the top 3 reviewers will get a special surprise in addition to that…which will be revealed at a later date. For now, put on your best reviewing gloves and dig deep into the Green Room!
I will be checking to make sure that the reviews are of a good quality!! I don’t imagine that we will have any problem with this, though :D In my opinion, “quality” means a review of a good length (not barely brushing the floor of 250 characters) and that has at least one good, fleshed-out critique (meaning it’s not just “grammar” and leaving it at that XD)
