The Discovery Of Love

The following is part 2 of my romantic series. Part 1 was split into two parts, where you met our protagonists, Damon and Maggie. Let's continue, shall we?

He saw her at the market
Looking over some creams.
He was certain he'd found Her,
The Woman Of His Dreams.

He walked up to her
And asked if she needed some aid.
She turned to look at him;
This risk had definitely paid.

.........................

She could not believe
Who came up by her side.
The Man She Had Prayed For,
The one for whom she cried.

He was everything she wanted,
And yet so much more.
She said hello to this man,
And almost fell to the floor.

..........................

He introduced himself as Damon,
A doctor who could fix any bone.
She said her name was Maggie,
And this town was all she'd known.

He offered to buy the groceries,
So long as they went out for food.
Maggie immediately said yes,
being in a better mood.

So simple, yet sweet. I was rendered speechless by the emotion of reality in this poem. I felt as though it were real. Yet, the actual tone is beautiful. Although, I would have used less common vocabulary to articulate the beautiful story.

Nonetheless, a very swell performance here. I am one for simplicity inside of felicity.

Wtppowers, I think we've met, if you don't remember, pretend you never saw me and then I am WISEGIRL22 THE AWESOME AND ULTIMATE.

I really liked this, it was short and full of meaning, I didn't have to read the last two poems for this one was a short poem teeming with explanation. I liked the feels between those characters, and the chemistry as well, and I think you should make a short, short story out of this. I hope there's more, I would liked to hear about the dinner. :P Byezeez!

Hello!

I really like this poem. My favorite part is how they both feel like the other is perfect but they don't know the other feels that way too. I also like how they were so sure that the other was perfect. Good write! I enjoyed it have a good day! :)

Greetings. o7

I must say I liked this poem (and I usually don't get very interested in poetry) due to how simple it was, it conveyed a lot of emotions in very few words, not just because it was a poem. It also caught my interest because it told a complete story in a fraction of what most stories couldn't dream of doing, but maybe that's normal and I need to read more poetry. Nonetheless the conveying of emotions, the concise use of words to convey said emotions, and the storytelling through the few words in a method that not only rhymes but manages to just flow easily.

All-in-all, 8.2+/10.
