16+ Language Violence

In Misery Loves Company

Warning: This work has been rated 16+ for language and violence.

Love.
A place that cradles the repulsive newborn snakes.
A Malicious snake that slithers through our bitchy souls;
while their knives kiss and lick the victims entrails
puncturing the fiend’s skin.
The pain intrigues your silent Hell
A slight smile
A slight cry
A sudden fate reveals itself.
Death.
I indeed did love you
and yet I wanted to let you fall,
and let you drown inside your own blood.
I wanted to hear you scream as you choked upon the pressure of my hand.
Your inner demons wished pain,
and death upon me.
Words that pierced my heart many times before
Leaving an open wound,
Yet I still hide the pain,
Waiting under your cloak of distress
that I loved so dearly.
It was white, innocent, and pure,
yet cold and fatal.
Such a deceiving thing,
but what about it has come to my liking?
It was you who made me love the frost
as i lay there paralyzed glaring at nothing.
You who made me love the silence
as I breath in the murky air of the black abyss.
You who I loved, but you didn’t return it.
You couldn’t.
And even when I did love you,
I fucking hated your deceiving heart!
Millions of scars take over me now,
You did this! YOU!
You plunged these razors, and pierced them deep.
You jab all your sweltering needles into my heart,
letting it engorge with venom.
Yet I still smile as my heart cries its crimson rubies,
Waiting until I awaken from this nightmare.
But didn’t.
Hope didn’t exist for me anymore.
Your jet-black heart still carried on,
devouring away my own.
Abusing me, hating me, killing me.
I took that razor,
as I was blinded by torment and death.
And I pierced that god-damn razor into my living canvas,
Watching the crimson paint ooze its way down the blue tree branches.
I hold my last breath knowing I will be safe there.
Slowly erasing you from my memories.
I suddenly see the being
obscured in darkness
that is said to steal those who are dead.
Death is calm.
Death painless,
and death is free from all pain.
More love came from death than love itself.
Death embraced me in its arms
Death is mine.
Only mine.
And your tears claw down your cheeks.
When you find death has taken me.
At least I see you have a heart.
At least I see the tears that pierce thy eyes.
And at least the kiss of death
helps me live on,without a breath.
We never maybe heard.
We never maybe remembered,
but the unseen will be seen
sooner or later.

Hey Heavymetal!
I really like this poem. I mean, I would go ahead and mark it as 18+ because of the f-bomb--that's considered strong language, so it's best to be safe--but other than that, it was amazing!
Not many people choose to write the darker side of emotion and thought so vividly--honestly--in such a dramatic way. Not only was it refreshing, it was interesting to analyze and beautiful to read. I don't usually stay entertained with non-rhyming poems since the flow is usually destroyed, but in this case my eyes sort of melted down it until I was done. I barely even noticed the lack of rhyming, which is shocking for me! I usually over-analyze.
So... Nicely done. :) Keep writing!

Thanks! I'm surprised people are actually enjoying the dark writing, they usually think I'm weird at school or something X). And I'm very glad you were engaged it's awesome! Thank you again, and rock on!

I am officially in love with this poem.
I usually don't take the time to sit back and read long poems, and review them afterwords...
But this is brilliant.
You've put words to so many things that poets attempt to describe through petty words and metaphors. You made the harsh, depressing ways of someone who's been hurt by a lack of love, incredibly beautiful and mesmerizing.
I didn't want the poem to stop.
I wanted/ needed more words to come from this. I yearned for an ending, even if it meant THE END. .
I was captivated, with tears in my eyes, with every word. Not only because it was perfection.
But because you found a way to describe a pain we all face.
BEAUTIFUL.
I love it more than you will ever understand.

Good Luck To You

Thank you, Im glad someone sees the beautiful side of darkness, it means a lot that you enjoyed this poem, You motivated me to keep writing. Thank you so much! :D
