“How can He answer every prayer?
There are billions, it’s not possible.”
It’s because of time you think this.
But how can time exist without Him?
What is time, beyond our perception?
If a being can exist beyond time
And beyond matter, space, or scale
Is there any amount of prayers
That he could not respond to?
You believe what humans tell you
About the distortion of time and matter
By dead stars and black holes above
How, then, is it so hard to believe
That He or his kingdom could exist
In a distortion even more intricate

“How can His word be law to us?
The Book changes and contradicts.”
The Book was not written by Him
Nor by his Son, nor the Angels
It was the human interpretation
And humans are flawed beings
It’s natural, they mix things up
They inject their biases as well
Often without even realizing it
In truth, His word could be seamless
But the Book never had a chance
As long as it was written by humans
Thus, it is the collective little flaws
That makes it feel even more real

“No one has seen Him, nor angels…
How can I believe what I cannot see?”
You believe in the gravity of Earth
But you cannot see that gravity
You believe in the air we breathe
But you cannot see that either
You cannot see God from here
However, just look all around us
Look at the phenomena I mentioned
Look at life, and its very existence—
Bodies, cells, molecules, then atoms
Then what is there, but more questions?
How is there autonomy, or capacity for faith?
I believe even many scientists can attest
That there is something beyond matter

“If He truly loves and cares for us all,
How can evil still exist, even to believers?”
Simple: humans can abuse freedom
To commit atrocities unto eachother
So too can humans abuse the free will
That was passed on to them by Him
As children can defy their parents
Humans can defy Him just as easily
All the while, as we believe he exists
So too does His opponent, in Oblivion
Who will take advantage of the vulnerable
To corrupt the word, to punish the faithful
All of this together, it’s true that sometimes
Terrible things happen, even in His name
However, our bad choices do not define Him

“Am I not irredeemable to Him by now?
I’ve cursed and mocked him for so long.”
A firm no—you are never beyond saving
His Son ate with the sinners and Lepers
Welcomed the lost, challenged the faithful
Preached that there would be more celebration
To reclaim one lost, than to bolster many found
Take this to heart, and think of it strongly
The core of His teaching is not rejection
It is forgiveness, and it is redemption
It is to save souls, not to condemn them
We may hate the sin, but we love the sinner
Even if they never come to believe Him
Even if we stand firm in our convictions
The core value is still love over transgression
