I couldn’t write it
I couldn’t find reason

You gave me love
And I started,
But I was far from good
I still missed something

You gave me pain
And I ran,
But I didn’t want this
I only needed saving

I have to write it
I have to save myself

You gave me a reason
And I want to share,
But I’m not ready
I haven’t said it yet

You gave me fear
And I can’t rid myself,
But this helps
I will get there

I will write it
I will find peace

If you are a new writer than you should polish your skills. Remember you can ne succsecful only when people can connect with your content. The poem simply touched me . It rang the chord mlof my heart. Thiugh it is just average.
still I can see the potential. If I add my own imagination in this poem. I can see a broken heart writing to be healed . I know you can do well . Just make sure, that your words are honest. That your poems gets a reason to be read by another person. Keep writing.

Hi. This is Kman134. I'm here to review your work.

When it comes to being a poet, it is about writing something that gives one information. one of the most popular forms of inspiration is through pain and misery. after having your heart broken, it gives you the material to write all of your anguish on a piece of paper while listening to Linkin Park.

the tears you shed, while fuels your art, it also gives the person who broke your heart even more satisfaction. However, you shouldn't let them get to you. you shouldn't let them continue running your life. try to find the silver lining in your pin and be free from the shackles that still bind you to your ex-lover, or any loved one who hurt you. I know this might not be what you are writing about but this is just something I wanted to vehement.

"You gave me fear

And I can’t rid myself,

But this helps

I will get there"

This is the part that really struck a cord for me. the feeling of fear and dependence on this person symbolizes the tyranny one experiences in a toxic relationship how the person is used and abused by his/her girlfriend/boyfriend. luckily, when one is finally freed, looking back on such an incident will help one grow as a person and help them not make the same mistake in the future.

I liked your poem. I hope to read more of your work.

Thanks for sharing

I like the way the poem is formatted and its flow. The dramatic pauses are excellent. Also the meter contributes to the pensive somber mood. So the poem does effectively convey the inner struggle that the speaker feels in wanting to write about his experience with the significant other and his inability to do so. The writer feels loved. The writer feels hated. The other person provokes both. So maybe the reason for the struggle is based on this ambiguity. The inability to pin down exactly how this other person really feels.

The speakers tells us that there is peace in writing down such thoughts and expressing emotion. In view of the anxiety that this other person is provoking, that's like putting a band-aid on a serious wound. Such a relationship seems to demand a far more aggressive remedy-such as a termination in order to prevent any further unnecessary anxiety.

A very well-written poem. Keep up the good work!
