just reach up high
up to the night sky,
and you will touch the stars.
.
be strong and fight
and then you might
be able to touch the stars.
.
I know you can and will
just keep trying until
you can touch the stars.
.
now you can do it,
so you can just admit,
you just touched the stars.
.
seeing it from here,
the ground seems so near,
once you've touched the stars.
.
but you can now recall
that above all,
you touched the stars.

Beautiful! I LOVE this poem.
Hi! I really enjoyed this piece, so I thought I'd stop by and leave a review.
This is such an inspirational poem, and it's beautiful at the same time. The repetition of "touch the stars" was used nicely - repetition in poetry really has to be done right, and this repetition was stunning.
Your imagery was awesome too. My favorite stanza was the first,
I loved it - the "night sky" phrase really added a nice touch to it. The amount of imagery in this poem was small, but I suppose it was enough, and all the imagery to it was awesome.
Format/grammar wise: I personally thought, based off the title, that this poem would all be in lowercase letters. The overall feel/"voice" to the poem also made me think this. I just think it would be prettier and add more to the calming situation if you uncapitalized the first letter of each stanza.
Also, one last nitpicky thing I would like to mention;
This stanza seemed pretty choppy and I stumbled over it a bit when I read it. The first line is only four syllables, so I'm pretty sure that that threw me off. The choppiness was through the transition of the first and second lines.
I can see you put a lot of thought into this! Keep up your amazing poetry - once you release new poems could ya let me know? ^_^ Thanks,
~ EternalRain
Sure thing! I'll be sure to fix your nitpicky. Oh, and thanks for the review.
Hey! I love poetry, and this one here was so good. It was so rhythmic. Everything was nice and smooth. I liked that. I also like how it was short, sweet, and to the point. To be honest, I sort of review short things!
Great job. But, I only found that the verses do not have the same number of syllables. Some had five, some had six or seven. In order for poetry to be clear, the number of syllables have to be the same in each line.
Good luck and keep writing!!!
Very truly yours,

Thank you for reviewing.
Hello!
The repetition of "touched the stars" made it even more enjoyable.
Great job! I only have one little nitpick.
Other than that, this was awesome!
Great job, and keep writing!

I love this!!
"But at least you can recall
that above all,
you touched the stars."
I think your rhythm breaks up a little bit in these lines. Maybe you could change it to-
"But at least you (can) recall,
that above all,
you have touched the stars."
Or something like that.
Thank you! I'll be sure to fix that
Hi Sunset21,

I think what you wrote is very inspirational, it pushes you to go on even if there is a little bit of motivation left in you. This is uplifting and gives you a message to always keep on moving forward and even just a bit and a few steps, go on forward and reach your goal.
The grammar and spelling are all okay. Your punctuation is alright and it is all fine. The rhyming is not bad as well. You don't need to worry! But you could have made it more lengthy and elaborate it a little. But it's all fine!
So, totally, I really liked it and I like how it ends and it tells you that after you have kept on going and persevered you might really reach the stars! It inspired me.
So keep going for the stars and write some more, good luck!
Thank you
Sure, you're welcome! Have fun writing!
