Just an Ordinary Girl

wishes are meant for shooting stars.
it makes no difference who you are.
you dont have to be extrodinary.
doesnt matter if you're ordinary.

im just an ordinary girl,
in an ordinary world.
nothing happens, its so sad.
these things will drive you mad.

people pass with a smile.
mothers hurrying with their childs.
nobody stops to say hello,
no glances my way as they go.

i wish that people are,
not about what they were.
to take a second to recognize,
whats happening to them inside.

what happened to the love,
that was there long ago?
did it shrink and shrivel up?
did it expand till it popped?

im just an ordinary girl,
in an ordinary world.
nothing happens, its so sad.
nothing happens till you go mad.

i wished on that shooting star,
to change things as they were.
make people love again,
make people smile again.

wishes are meant for shooting stars,
doesnt matter who you are.
love and learn and you'll see,
that you can be extrodinay.

im just an ordinary girl,
in an extrodinary world.
people can love and they can smile,
if they please once in a while.

the title intrigued me to read this...
and i thought it is pretty good.
i would like to hear the tune :)

Okay I sing for school, competions, etc. (yes I have won and my groups I'm in normally win to! :) ) Is the beat supposed to go fast? I sang here by my computer to it, but I sang up beat. I loved it.

:elephant: Keep rockin'! :elephant:

Good point to get across. The rhyming is a little off in some places but it doesn't really matter depending on how the song is actually sung. Good job on this one, it really catches on. :)

Keep it up!

I really liked it. The title got me to read it, but i didn't know it was a song then. The title is rather generic, for a song title. Otherwise if it had the right sound I might listen to it over and over. :D

Nice thought. I'd be cool to hear the tune.

You missed an R in the last Extrodinary of the second to last verse.
