William meets Henry [William’s POV]

*This fanfic is underneath my folder titled “FNAF fanfics”. Gacha Club character designs are under this forum: https://www.youngwriterssociety.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=116005&start=1290. FNAF stands for “Five Nights at Freddy’s” and was created by Scott Cawthon. This is my interpretation of how two important characters in the video game/book series became friends. They are eight years old in this fanfic. I’ll do Henry’s POV next! Anyway, enjoy!*

William smiled as he took in all of the string lights, the scent of greasy foods in stands, and the many rides. There was always seasonal festivals in his town celebrating-something. The start of a season? Just to celebrate? He did not know and did not care.

What he loved about it was how connected everyone was with one another. His own family didn’t act very close and that made him a little sad. But at the festivals, everybody was each other’s friend. Everyone was enjoying one another’s company. He hoped that one day he could make everyone happy like the festivals did. That’d be nice.

William stopped walking and looked around. He was far away from his family, but he didn’t mind. He’d come back to them later. He liked wandering on his own. He just had to figure out what to do…what to do…what to-

The carousel! He’d ride the carousel! He didn’t have any money with him, but again, that was okay! He just had to slip in quickly!

William ran to the sparkling white carousel as fast as his legs could take him, before the gate closed and he couldn’t get in, before-

He ran up to the ride faster than what he imagined the speed of light to be and sat on a lavender painted horse, the horse with the prettiest color.

“I like your shirt.”

William turned next to him. There was a boy with golden blond hair and glasses on the horse next to him, a boy around his age who had complimented him.

He was wearing his favorite smooth purple shirt, the crisp one that he wore at parties, the fancy one. He didn’t expect somebody else to compliment him, but he was grateful for it.

“Thanks!”

The jaunty music and spiraling turns of the carousel had begun.

It’s been some time since I read one of your fics! This was adorable to read, considering cannon…

I kept imagining a little William in his purple shirt and those shorts that have suspenders on them •u• Since, I have a feeling he would have worn those as a kid..

The little sprint to the carousel was fun :] it was a nice little action scene, and it was done very well. Oh and of course he got on the lavender horse! Would be a crime if he didn’t!

Henry’s compliment was just kid like and realistic. Kids compliment other kids for the most random thing they have that they think is cool or interesting, which can either be adorable or a little weird to compliment. But kids will be kids!

All and all, this was cute short story! I liked it, and I may read Henry’s pov sometime soon •U•

Thank you for reading my little ramblings!

Idk why but I was sure I read this XD
But yay, more FNAF~
(If I missed any other of your FNAF stories, let me know)

Solid first paragraph :3

Also a really good thought: “He hoped that one day he could make everyone happy like the festivals did“ A good motivation for what he eventually ends up doing!

I feel like you could do a little more to set the scene and give a reason for why he looks around right now, here: “William stopped walking and looked around.“

Other than that, cute scene ;3
