Us
Verse 1Sitting under the willow trees
licking our citrus lollies,
as the grown-ups heat up the grill
we'd play and run like Jack and Jill.
Verse 2How we'd grown up dreaming to be
you Harry and I Hermione;
under the bright fairy lights
we spent most of our nighs.
ChorusGrowing up together has helped me realise
that there's no one else in this world that can tell me lies
and I'll know.
You've been there since my ealiest memory
living in my mind, perfect reverie
and I know
that you wouldn't want to be in any other place
and I really can't stand not seeing your face
all this time.
Come back to where you belong
with me, as I sing you this song
about us.
Verse 3I see you spinning round
like you've been spell-bound
and I miss you too,
and everything you do
Verse 4We walked on the rain
we could do that again.
Are we dancing on the stars?
The world has locked us behind bars.
ChorusVerse 5Tears flow like rolling crystals
I listen to the voice that whistles
in my fragile ears.
Empty bottles, empty beers
Vers6Litter the room around us
empty syringes, empty around us.
Citrus flavoured pills
'I owe you' bills.
And I feel that chill
as we play Jack and Jill...
Bridge'Cause with you I can do anything
'Cause with you I feel like someone real
'Cause the moon is no longer shy
and neither am I
to say... I love you.
ChorusEndI sing you this song
about us,
under the willow tress
with our citrus lollies,
about us
under the willow trees,
with our citrus lollies...
oh my gosh...i absolutely love this. so sweet...so innocent. beautifully written, my friend.
Hey, wassup? I really like it!! I write songs too, but none of them are as great as that! What kind of song is it?

I can't wait to hear this in song! You're amazing at writing lyrics and this piece is very well written. It's sounds really endearing and the words flow like a stream. You have a talent for songs and I hope you never end writing them. Great work once again, Mikko!
As I don't know the rhythm of the song, at times it felt a little awkward. However, I'm confident that if given whatever music you used whilst writing this it'd feel better.
It's a nice little song, really, very meaningful to anyone who has lost a childhood friend whilst growing up. There are a few little changes I'd make, but hey; it's your song. It's probably perfect the way it is, to you.
