Will I ever be truly happy?
How long until I kill this pain?
This pain is slowly consuming me alive.
The only time I get relief is when I'm away.
This place has nothing,
I have nothing left.
I'm sorry I'm me, I can't help it.
I was raised to not change myself for you, and I'm sorry.
I'm sorry you can't take me,
And that I will never be like you.
How does it feel,
To live with the knowledge of knowing,
Knowing you'll never be me?
It must feel so bad, knowing I'm still me.
Me,
A person full of ideas of my own,
Never following the 'crowd',
Always going my own way.
I can tell you envy that in me.
This storm is almost over,
I will no longer be here.
YOU have no right,
YOU are pathetic,
YOU cant take me.
I'm slowly growing stronger,
Although I might fall again,
Although I might hurt,
It's worth it see you for what you are.
A bully.
You might think I'm stupid,
You might say I'm worthless,
But I know the truth.
I am not those things,
I
Am
Me.

Good piece here. I enjoyed reading it. I like how it began with the general feeling of pain. It brought me to a dark place that I'm familiar with, so I was drawn in from the very beginning. The transfer of focus from 'me' to 'you' was really good. It changed the whole outlook of the poem. It turned into something very dramatic and uplifting, something that made me want to shout the words as I read them.

I love this piece a lot! I really like how you just put it out there. No bulls*** sugarcoating. I like that. You told everyone how you feel and you give an inspirational message throughout the poem too. Don't give in to the pressure and hate. I love that message! And I can really relate to this a lot, which makes me love it even more. I really liked this part:
"I'm slowly growing stronger,
Although I might fall again,
Although I might hurt,
It's worth it see you for what you are.
A bully."
Genius. Pure awesomeness! :D
Keep writing!
