Illusion.

E - Everyone

In poetry

"If you want to live, do not write poetry,
rhyme will lead you, on a path of death
your world will be bleak
and what you lived, just the illusion, "they said.

Life and death for me was tantamount,
because I was not able to create a life,
death nor illusion.

I just wrote a poem

and just wanted to recognize the true.

Subtle.
I had to read it a few times over. It seems to be a work of someone that has been on a psychedelic trip and and glanced at what lies behind the veil that is perception(if that makes any sense to you. It could just be me.). :P

"Life and death for me was tantamount,
because I was not able to create a life,
death nor illusion."

Simply beautiful. You say something that is one of the hardest things to realize, to get to terms with, in the very simplest of manners. A very hard thing to do considering the meaning of the statement.

Brilliantly done!
Hoping for more from your side,
-Baron

thanks a lot,I really appreciate it :D

A short and a sweet poem. Just 9 lines and conveys such an amazing message but I really didn't get why you wrote do no write poetry though the next line is do connected with why. It means that if we write poetry our rhymes will lead to the path of death. AnYWAYS A REALLY A REALLY AMAZING WRITEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! JUST LOVEEEEEEED IT :)

Hey there, lyricalrebel here to make a review of your work.
I like the theme of your poem. You're right, a lot of people considers a poetry as a brilliant figment of our imagination because they don't know that it usually means REALITY!!
Our poems are the truth, not an illusion. We just want our voices to be heard and the beauty of it is that we can express it through our own artistic way.
So, back to reviewing, the flow of your poem is great and as I have mentioned you have picked an awesome theme.
Be careful on your choice of words though:
"and just wanted to recognize the true."
If I am to be asked, I would say, "and just wanted the truth to be recognized".
All in all, I liked your poem. It is powerful. :)
Keep it up! :)

Hey there DarkKnight, I'm going to give this a go.

Your poem here is very creative, and very surreal(to me). At first it seems to be a mix of narrative and "mise en ebyme." Though it is still a bit unclear to me, I enjoyed your ending tying up the loose ended beginning. Very vivid imagery within your first and second stanzas.

However, I see some grammatical errors here. The first stanza seems to be simply one long sentence that runs on forever. The second stanza has a few of subject-verb tense agreement issues. "Life and death for me is tantamount because I was not able to create life and death I was not able to create the illusion as well." Here you should either separate the stanza or make the verbs agree. Such as: "Life and death for me is tantamount, because I am not able to create life and death. I am not able to create the illusion either." Or "Life and death for me was tantamount, for I was not able to create life and(or) death; I was notable to create the illusion either."

I'm not quite sure how you wanted it to sound because of the past and present tense confusion, but overall I did enjoy it. Hopefully you can clear it up and make it a bit easier to read for the viewer. Thanks for your work, best of luck.

Thanks for review :D

Thanks for the reading!

I will edit it soon^^

Looking forward to it. :D
